Everything was nice and clean, check in was great. They even gave us a room on the first floor like we had asked for. The breakfast had lots of variety for adults and children. The pool was wonderful for our grandkids.

The view in our room was of a brickwall. It was very hard to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. The only way in was the issue. It was right off a hwy off ramp. So if you left the hotel to go anywhere you had to make a circle around just to get back to the hotel because there was only 1 way into it. There were never any towels in the pool area. We always had to go hunt some down. Being on the first floor in this hotel was a mistake. We heard people walking, running,talking the whole time. The TV in our room was very small and old. Had scratches all over it.

The hotel location, while convenient to US287, has an entrance only off the feeder road. The feeder road is one way heading south, so my return to the hotel after leaving required getting on US287 heading north, past the exchange with US380 to a u-turn to get back to the southbound feeder road. I later realized that I could have taken Business US380 to South Workman Road to West Main Street that dumps me back onto US287 just north of the hotel, and that route would have saved me a few miles. An entry to the hotel parking lot off Business US380 would be much better!

We had a room on the second floor with an occupant directly above us that walked quite loudly throughout their room. We could hear footsteps, particularly after we went to bed -- not at a point in time that I'd like to request a change of rooms -- but we tolerated it. We also had a young child a couple of rooms down on the same floor, I think, that also decided to make his presence known. Neither of these circumstances could we have anticipated when we checked in, but it would have been nice of the attendant to put some space between hotel occupants. I acknowledge that I know nothing about the occupancy of the hotel during our stay, so it's totally fair to consider this feedback to be nitpicky. I accept that.

The beds were excellent. Very clean room and comfortable bed with fluffy, soft pillows. The only reason I didn't give a full 100% clean rating was because in the bathroom floor in one corner there was a crumb of something and I'm picky. But the shower countertop space and toilet looked spotless.

The breakfast wasn't great but we did eat . The eggs looked unappetizing due to some water at the bottom of the container they were in, and the bacon wasn't drained well, as it was sitting in a bit of grease. The color of the food looked good though and appeared to be hot, and I wanted to try, it but due to the water and the grease I didn't eat the eggs. Had oatmeal with walnuts which tasted good but was a little sticky.

Gret plce, clean, no worrines about things happening in the parking lots at night, plenty of restaurants nearby

They surprised me with charging 6.50 for "incidentals" . We didn't' have any incidentals. I hope it will be refunded, otherwise they are just taking an extra 6.50 from everyone for staying there. Not cool. Lots f rooms filled, i bet they are making a lot by doing this.

Best Breakfast compared to 15+ stops at hotels. I have NEVER given any lodging such a HIGH Rating (including: RitzC, Intercontinental, Meridian, ++) Everything about this place is Exceptional. We kept wondering why this lodging was where it was!? Just Exceptional. Awesome... PS: I am a hard grader. Rarely ever giving out a 10 or all Smiley Faces.

Nothing.... Amazing.

Overall, it was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and that refrigerator in the room and it kept our stuff very cold. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only thing I really didn’t like is they didn’t have a ice machine on the first floor, but that’s really about it

I was in a room that adjoined to another room and the people who were put in that room after 8pm continuously tried to open joining door, were loud and had television up loud. When I had to be up at 5:30am the next morning, it made sleeping impossible. I hope next time staff will take this into consideration when putting me into a room since I only stay in Decatur on work trips

Very nice staff, nice breakfast, great gathering space, comfortable room lots of space.

Getting there can be confusing and outside and from upper level noise was bothersome in morning.

The queen suite was extremely large. Breakfast was really good with a good selection and the breakfast attendant was amazing. Even when breakfast was done she told us we could still come in and get something. Coffee is available in the lobby at all times.

Light was not working over sink. They told us that maintenance was gone for the day and would come the next day (after we were checked out).

Hard to get into property. It needs another entrance for access other Than the Freeway. Coming from Dallas, I had to pass the property 1/2 mile to turn around on the Freeway to access the entrance. NOT FUN !!! The refrigerator was not cold.
