Beautiful property spacious, updated, and clean

Front desk staff not super friendly on arrival or thereafter. The refrigerator was not keeping food cold on the highest setting so I asked to have it replaced so that my food would not spoil. She said they could not do that, but that I could keep my personal food in their company refrigerator, where they kept all their other breakfast foods and such. I would need to let them know when I needed to get anything out of there. I did for this solution, but it certainly was less than ideal.

Let me tell you... the people I met, on my trip, who stayed at other well-known hotels, had every complaint you can image. Not me. I had the best experience ever! The location was perfect. I am a single woman and I traveled alone. I felt very safe here. The breakfast was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed to add a night, to my stay, and the young lady, at the front desk, was kind and told me how to do it, online, to save money! I gave them 5 stars because they actually deserve it!

The room was well appointed with all of the essentials and very clean. The bed was comfortable and we had space to move around as well. We requested 2 rooms side by side and they were provided to us with no issues which hadnt been the case at the other hotels we used on this trip.

The hotel sits next door to an adult book shop but we did not hear anything during our stay. It concerned me that we might be in a rough area of town, but it ended up being just fine. The parking lot was very well lit and security monitors were in place.

I agree with a reviews that I read before booking this hotel. It is clean roomy nice beds and pillows and a tremendous buy for the price I paid. We were very comfortable.

It was close to a freeway and we noticed some road noise at first but it died down and we were fine overnight. The noise was just in the evening and was by no means a big problem.

The room wasn’t cramped, plenty of space to move around. The property was clean, well lighted, and staff were professional and friendly. The continental breakfast was decent, and a nice selection of options.

This property is immaculate. The landscaping and the outside of the property is well maintained and inside it rivals a chain hotel. The room we stayed in was large and well appointed. The room was very clean and comfortable. I thought it was a remodel because it is a motel with outdoor access, but it is a new build — only 5 1/2 years old and very well maintained. The owners really care about the property and it shows. It is right off of the interstate, but I don’t recall hearing any noise. We slept very well. The bed was comfy. There is a free continental breakfast with waffles like the chain restaurants have.

I didn’t have any issues. I was fine with the continental breakfast although I do prefer a hot breakfast with protein. However, for the money I saved by staying here, I could have stopped somewhere else and had a really good breakfast.

This is my fifth time staying at the Palace Inn, I truly like the facilities and the staff. Rooms are clean, well kept, spacious. The value for the dollar is very good, and it is centrally located to restaurants and the freeway.

There is really nothing to complain about. If your going to go to sleep early as I was on this trip and are on the ground floor, cars coming in after dark may light up your room with headlights, and there is a faint sound of traffic on I10 which I don't mind as I enjoy a level of white noise in the background.

Comfy, clean rooms and bed felt good to a weary traveler. Continental breakfast had a large assortment of instant foods to choose from along with a waffle maker. I especially liked the heatable sausage/egg sandwich. Very tasty.

Close to a very noisy highway. Once the door closed and earplugs were in place all was good for a peaceful sleep .

The rooms are up to par with a Hilton Tru, for example. Clean, comfortable and pretty. They still offer lotion, shampoo and soap, where others do not. We're staying again on our return trip, so we're very happy with our choice! It's the details, too. They stamp the toilet paper roll. It's so cute!

The breakfast was the only thing lacking. They did offer breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the microwave, and waffles to cook oneself, so I can't complain much.

Large room, easy access (on first floor), chairs for sitting, good enough bed. Bathroom has separate room for toilet. Step in shower, large counter at sink. We appreciated the solid surface floor; often carpets are pretty dirty, so the un-carpeted floor is more likely to be clean. Front desk people were always at the desk and friendly. Breakfast selections were about average in this price range.

Minor complaints: No freezer in the fridge No extra towels, but they were adequate. Location is kind of an industrial area right next to the freeway. No nearby restaurants, etc, and not a place we would want to walk around in. We knew that when we reserved the room, so this isn't a big negative, just pointing it out.
