Amazing and super cozy location to spend time with family. So much fun for kids (and adults) - lots of animals that they can pet, kids library and art house, swings near almost every house, hammocks, some toys here and there, board games and children books in the rooms. + Beautiful trails for hiking. We indeed enjoyed sparkly clean house - thank you for the excellent housekeeping! Same appreciation goes to all cozy, clean, very well kept and organized territory. Very pleased we found this place. Will be back soon.

The only one little thing - a bit loud AC in the mobile home (not too bad, but annoying)

Animals were so sweet and funny, really enjoyed walking around and seeing them. Had a really nice night sitting on the porch watching the lighting bugs. Very lovely and quiet place.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations with fun western decor. Surprisingly, very large, country setting but just a short walk to downtown Glen Rose along the river. Property has goats, llama, hiking trails, large pasture with a couple of horses and we saw numerous bunnies and deer.

A bit disappointing that breakfast is served weekends only during months of March-November and we didn't know until we read the room literature. Plan accordingly if staying during the week to use your unit's kitchen or eat out. At night, property is extremely dark. Some low solar lights outside and/or flashlights for guest use would be really nice. We never could get volume on TV in Saddle House. None of these were big deals for us, but felt worthy of note.

Amazing farm location setting. Property was close to everything and super quiet and comfortable

Only real negative but was not a fault of the property was the wifi was down because of a network issue. Depending on your mobile carrier you should have plenty of coverage and you can use your hotspot.

Everything! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The grounds were beautiful and you truly felt welcomed to explore, there were even walking sticks next to our camper. It was so fun to interact with all the barn animals. I wish we would have had more time!

We didn't like that there wasn't a bed big enough for two but everything else was so great we didn't really care.

secluded, Charming/Rustic. it was very cozy and comfortable, well stocked. it is close to the Historic district just an all around great place to be.

Nothing, we loved it

Country wood has excellent location. Located right on the river walk and walking distance to down town. We loved waking up everyday and getting to feed and pet the animals on their land.

My only complaint would be the mattresses.

Lots of attention to detail, quirky decore, quick response from staff to get TV reception working.

Lighting was a bit dark for reading.

Enjoyed the quiet and the animals. Loved walking along the river. Loved the walk around the property. Especially to the chapel in the woods. Great place to take pictures. Relaxing place to be. Sitting by the campfire at night was great!

It was a bit awkward taking a shower in the the tub. The door to the bathroom is a little difficult to lock but we were able to make it work. Other than that it is doable. After all it is a temporary stay and I appreciate that fact that there is a working facility. We stayed at the saddlehouse. It is a cute place.
