Price, room amenities and comfort

Mismatch between listing and actual where description said grab and go breakfast was included but actually was buffet for a nominal charge. The email upon booking says procees about getting picked up but it doesn't say that we need to make our way to pick up pount in terminal C to get picked up! We had a local phone so we could contact them easily but someone roaming with overseas phone may struggle!

Breakfast was very good. We thought it was included in the price of the room however, but we still had it. We also sat at the beautiful pool in the evening. Very relaxing. Wished we had swimsuits.

The air-conditioning unit in our room (116) rattled whenever it came on waking us up occasionally. It sounded like there was a plastic bag insid. We looked the the vent, and saw mold on the interior.

very close to houston airport convenient for an overnight stay if you have an early flight next day onsite restaurant free shuttle to and from the airport this is not a complaint to the hotel: i have to point out that the airport is very busy. we arrived at around 6pm. it took almost an hour for the shuttle to come, probably not the hotel's fault, the traffic around the airport was horrible! i'd think twice if i want to spend a night near this airport.

I loved our room, the beds and how the cleaning staff just always wanted make sure we had everything we needed. I like the style of the hotel and all the space. I didn't mind that there were renovations going because it's a pretty hotel with great cozy feeling decor. Oh and the dinner service and food was GREAT!

I didn't like the some of the odd characters/staff from the dining and kitchen area. In the morning we would come down for breakfast and this lady who sat at register would just Starr at us while we stood there. The sign says wait to be seated and she would act like, "what are you doing here?" And she couldn't just look at two people and figure out we wanted to be charged for "two" people and a table for two. It was weird. Then some guy came out the kitchen(white/eastern European accent) and gave us a stare. He seemed puffed up and kinda intimidating. Then one morning he winked at me and was kinda flirty. I just thought it was strange. All we wanted was to eat our breakfast and go!

Staff was a bit rude, shuttle to airport is very convenient but shuttle BACK to hotel is 80 minutes. Staff actually hung up on me when I called a second time about the shuttle. At checkin, staff refused to give me a receipt for parking, saying "you should have asked for it while I was processing it." Wow! Also, was refused a receipt for hotel at check-out. "Contact the website from which you booked the room> Fortunately, upon returning home, I called and a kind gentleman working at the desk e-mailed the receipt to me.

The front desk and wait staff in the restaurant are lovely and very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has good food and an adorably gal to make you a fantastic cappuccino in the morning. The hotel has the amenities I needed, including a good bed, laundry, restaurant bar, and good wi-fi to make my trip optimal and productive, and fantastic location close to the airport. There were also some walking green areas behind the hotel to relax, so nice in a congested airport area. As an older hotel, the rooms were of a generous size. Any time I come to Houston I am staying here.

The hotel needs a facelift, particularly on the outside, and this was in progress while I was staying there. The workers were not intrusive but be aware, there is current activity surrounding the front door.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom and shower functioned well. The breakfast was excellent and well prepared.

Calling for a shuttle from the airport when we arrived was a hassle… I got put on hold at the number the hotel gave me, and eventually I was cut off. So I had to ask around to find a shuttle. Today after check out, I requested a copy of my bill with confirmation of payment … I am still waiting for it. So I think the hotel reception could be more efficient.

This hotel served its purpose as we basically just need to crash/grab some sleep overnight before our transit flight the next morning. It's 5 minutes in a taxi from the airport. The hotel has a slight feel of having seen better days (evidence of leaks, could do with a coat of paint in some areas) but the staff were pleasant and helpful, the evening meal in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good (the restaurant itself is rather uninspiring in terms of ambience/decor but don't let that put you off), the room was large and had air con, and we really appreciated free coffee on tap in the reception area while we waited for our free shuttle bus in the morning (organised by the hotel). Overall a perfectly decent stopover hotel which will just set you back a few dollars to reach by taxi.

Decor could be better and needs a bit of TLC.

This is 5 mins away from the airport. I came with the hotel shuttle. Loved my room, very spacious and clean. Breakfast (for additional $9) was super complete with eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Highly recommend this hotel!!

My laptop didn't connect to the internet wifi.

It's a good hotel if you need to catch a next day flight. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. I cannot comment too much, since I arrived pretty late at night and left early in the morning and only needed to sleep there. Staff was nice and helpful.

The hotel offers a free shuttle, but it is for many hotels in the airport's vicinity, so you might wait quite a long time to get on one.
