The location is near the lake which is really nice. The room was comfortable.

I took my two small dogs for a walk and the lady manager approached me in front of my hotel room telling me that I needed to pay for my dogs to be there. It was early in the morning and I wasn't really awake yet. I told her I would let my husband know and she told me " go to hell"! How did she know whether or not we paid for pets to be there. Is she going by rooms when people are coming in from their cars or just walking around to harrass them?! Her partner/husband was in the lobby/desk when my husband explained what had happened. Unbelievable.

I didn’t have anything particular that I didn’t like. The property is just older. considering this, it was in really good condition.

Nice, older motel right on Lake. About 5 minutes drive into town. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and they allowed pets.

They owners did a lot of remodeling in the lobby area and new paint and sign on the outside. It looks like there was a restaurant at one time that faced the lake and was in disrepair. They didn't put a lot of effort into updating the rooms.

Not much thought for the breakfast. My friend grabbed us both a banana and cup of coffee.

The room was comfortable and clean, but the a/c unit made a loud clacking noise all night. Luckily I had ear plugs.

Friendly staff, clean room, didn't look like much from the front. Free breakfast. Handicap accessible pool. Ate breakfast outside. Coffee in the room. Most places after covid have nothinggreatv

Room is clean, great beautiful view of the lake. When we had a problem with out first room, the staff immediately fixes the issue, and moved myself to another room.

I loved staying at this place and have stayed two other times. It is always clean and the owners are wonderful to work with. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Brownwood but it is worth every mile. It is just off of the lake and has beautiful views from the rooms. He

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property or the room.

The motel is uiquely loated next to the neautiful Lake Brownwood, popular with aqua sport enthusiasts.

The view of the lake was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The parking is a little crowded and you must walk to one end of the parking lot, up a step to the sidewalk which is a slight uphill grade then down the long stretch of rooms. Being disabled the uphilll grade makes it a little difficult to negotiate.
