The people and facilities here are EXTRAORDINARILY fine. June 25, '24 I left Denver hours later than intended, without a box-full of camera, cell phone, etc. I needed! Plan was to get breakfast and fuel on the road. Las Vegas NMx water system system was shut down by flood -- no restaurants were open! With a couple of granola bars and bottled water I got into Lubbock late, tired, hungry and grumpy. My reservation was immediately available, and good advice given for nearest restaurants. After moving in, I found Lubbock restaurants all closed some minutes before I got there! Chandu at the desk arranged my getting a good nutritious meal in spite of everything(!) I had a great night's sleep, and excellent Continental breakfast in the morning. ALL the staff have a gracious, can-do attitude that make La Quinta a first choice for me in the future!!! Allan

The room was very nice and clean. Bed was very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was big and very clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. The grounds and location were good. Our remote on the TV did not work. We called the front desk and the young lady came immediately to repair the remote. She stated that it probably needed new batteries. She took the remote with her to the front desk, added the new batteries and came back to our room within about 5 minutes. The batteries fixed the problem. Very nice and polite young lady.

the staff at La Quinta North really took me by surprise!! I'm no stranger to those "looks" and whispers from any and everyone in public because of my son's special needs. but I'll tell you what....not one time did any member of this team (or the other patrons for that matter) make us feel unwanted or unwelcome! in fact, it was the exact opposite. one sweet, compassionate young lady in particular really went above and beyond for us and I'll never forget it... there's literally nowhere I'd rather stay if I have to be away from home.. thank you La Quinta North 🩷🩶🩷🩶🩷 giving this place 11 out of 10 stars!! if you gotta stay in a hotel in Lubbock and you crave cleanliness, friendliness and an over all exceptional experience, I highly recommend checking them out.

the rates were just a tiny bit high in comparison to what I usually pay but I'd MUCH rather pay more for better service any day. hands down!!

The location is a bit further from Texas Tech, but Lubbock is so small you barely notice it. The room was clean and we had a good breakfast the next morning. If available, they even offered Hot Chocolate packages for the holiday season.

I think the change in breakfast hours could have been advertised a bit more. If it’s a weekday, they close breakfast an hour early compared to if it’s a weekend. It was winter, so I wasn’t expecting to go swimming, however their indoor pool was closed for cleaning; so we couldn’t swim even if we wanted to.

The room was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was excellent. The breakfasts were very good, and the staff was amazing.

The strobe lights on the smoke/fire alarm were facing the bed and were literally impossible to mute or turn off. I will always notice these whenever I am in a Hotel as I want to be alerted if there's a fire, but have never had a strobe light so bright that it keeps me awake. I solved the problem by placing a piece of clothing over it as I couldn't sleep with the lights flashing all night. Relocating these would likely be a huge expense, but perhaps a way to dim the lights by using an amber colored paint or covering would allow the lights to be seen but not be distracting one's sleep.

It was clean and well lit all around the property which is good due to the fact that there is construction of a housing complex and another housing complex direct to it. Since my daughter and I travel alone ALOT,, safety is my utmost concern

The pool/hot tub not working but that’s was uncontrollable! It’s being repaired so really there wasn’t anything other than being outdated.

I like the cleanliness room and a quited environment.

At checkout were 3 ladies at front desk and we waited 10 minutes, because one was talking to a guest and the other 2 were in the computer and never make eyes contact with us and asked if we need something, we have to wait until the first one finished talk to the guest. There's not team work and no education by them.

dog friendly. Great big breakfasts laid out each day. I enjoyed the indoor pool. That gives the opportunity to swim a little over more of the year. Really convenient location to the hospitals and doctors I needed to visit. little things that I liked like the little room with food drinks and desserts that you could buy from regardless of how late it is.

I stayed at the hotel on three separate occasions for around 9 nights in total. Most of the times the pool and hot tub was working. My last time they were both under repair. That saddened me because I really got used to a nice soak for my tired muscles. Last time the little shop ran out of the small pints of icecream . So no swimming, soaking or icecream on that visit. I would still stay there again if I return to Lubbock.

The staff was amazing. I left and item and they said they would ship it to me at their cost. Its located in a great place easy to get to and many other places close by.

Only one ice machine in building worked. The breakfast was terrible. Only the waffles were worth eating. They ran out of juice and other items. Pool was closed and has been the last two times I've been there. Not enough lighting in the rooms.

I’m a mom of a 2 and 4 year old boys and the two amazing lady’s that were on shift when I checked in at almost midnight were. BEYOND amazing, my kiddos were up watching my husband play softball in a tournament all day and were tired and beyond cranky both sweet ladies offered to help me get the kids settled and help with what ever I needed. I was beyond blessed to have one of the ladies call a little after midnight to check on me and ask if I needed anything else. I will definitely be choosing this hotel as my permanent hotel when we’re in Lubbock.
