Good breakfast (but a shame about the plastic/paper everything -- imagine a dishwasher and real eating utensils!), and very helpful staff. You can walk in 5 minutes to the city's Lake Park if you want to swim in open water. There are two restaurants adjacent, and another one basically across the street. The old downtown, with shops and many more restaurants, is an easy walk (5-10 minutes), but in Texas summer you'd be very hot before you get there. 2-minute drive.

I love the location and the pool that overlooks the lake. We had a patio room, but the view was partially blocked by stairs that led to grass. Staff was amazing. Very helpful, friendly, and easily available.

I feel like the hotel was way overpriced. Yes, it is a nice hotel, clean, and great staff, but I don't feel like it was worth $500 for two nights. It is currently be updated and is almost finished. It will look great when finished.

Breakfast was good

When my wife and I came down for breakfast the cook was making her way around the room talking to all the guests. We didn’t think much of it until she got to us. She didn’t ask us how we liked the food. She started talking about herself and complaining about life in general and how she put her daughter’s teacher in her place and so on. She wouldn’t stop talking about herself. It became very strange, and rude. I tried to interrupt her by asking my wife, let’s talk about what we were going to do today. But the cook jumped right in and started telling us what we should do. She was very unprofessional and rude. She needs to get a life. Someone to talk to. Not guests at your hotel. She doesn’t know when to stop talking. This was our only bad experience. The rest of our stay was great.

The view was beautiful, facilities where clean besides the remodeling going on and breakfast was good.

When my husband asked about the on site wifi the staff pretty much laughed in his face cause he couldn't connect his device. Also the a/c in the didn't get cool enough.

The ladies working here are magnificent!! Everyone we spoke to was over the top polite. Check in was great, and the lady at breakfast was ensuring all was well consistently. The bed was super comfy and the room was immaculate.

Staff was friendly. Property is being remodeled and will be nice when completed. Breakfast was good and available early. There are 2 restaurants in the same parking lot.

Loved the location. It was beautiful to see the stars and city lights from the hot tub. Enjoying the view of the lake was nice as well. Breakfast buffet was good and the staff was so friendly making sure everyone had what they needed.

We booked rooms for a wedding party, multiple rooms. The staff were great all around, multiple compliments to the girls who all looked great in their dresses. The rooms provided us a great place to get ready as well as relax after the ceremony.

Wouldn’t change a thing actually.
