You could tell they are working hard on upgrades. They still have a lot to do. It is a very old building. They are replacing tubs, showers, and toilets. The room we use had recently upgraded.

There was not enough recepticals near the bed for charging phones. There was no upgrade USB ports. The receiptical was only on one side of the bed, unless you used the receiptical for the sink. We killed two roaches in the room. Never seen anymore. The back door would not close all the way for security. Anyone could walk into the building without a hotel pass key.

Location for my traveks/famiky was perfect. The tall adult lady with glasses light brown skin at the front desk clerk was efficient and had a sweet smile with excellent eye contact. She is a keeper for sure. In the room, I liked the layout and space for a double queen. I especially liked the ottoman and the gideon's bible.

One key card was not working. The difficulty of securing the stopper to bath tub. The bathroom door stopper position was dangerous upon exit of showering/bathing. Lastly, I suggest a simple print out of property map. It is difficult to know where to park closest to your room number. As well as where the long hallways lead. I understand there are labels and signs, but upon an arrival Iwhen guests receive their key card/s a simple print out property map is strongly suggested.

Was clean and comfortable the staff was very friendly

Rooms service knocked on door at 9:30 am when check out isn't till 11 would like to have slept till 10:30

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful in every way. I will definitely stay or recommend them as a place to stay because they were all so wonderful.

I'm disabled amputee, wanted a folding chair for the shower. Was ok, I hear a bucket I keep with me.

it was clean and affordable. the staff was informative and friendly.

the toilet had low water pressure and would flush all the way was the only issue we had in the room.

Had Coffee maker in the room, and very good location to MD Anderson Mays Clinic. Staff very friendly and pleasant

For staying one night, it was perfect

Polite, friendly staff ready to take care of your needs. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, I've never not slept well since the start of my stay here. Each room has an apartment size refrigerator and microwave in them as well as an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, flat panel TV. But sure what programming they offered as I brought my tablet with me. Plenty of hot water. No courtesy bottles of water however. There's a mini mart across the street from the Circle K gas station, a movie theater, Quick Trip,McDonald's on the west side of 75. Good value for the buck. I'd definitely stay here again.

Aside from the bathroom being dated and in need of remodeling. Noisy on some day's as I was in my room most of my stay (truck in shop) nearby. There's no pool, no sauna or jacuzzi to use, no gym or weight room all public rooms are closed due to the CCP virus. Washer works well, best bring your own detergent (they) don't sell it in travel sizes, nor so they give you it for guest use, took the dryer twice to get my clothes dry, only one washer and dryer for guest use. There's no breakfast either. McDonald's is across the bridge from the hotel Front lobby automatic doors are shut due to leaking roof. ATM was out of order, but you can get change easily at the front desk.

Comfortable bed, linens seemed to be fresh, no bed bugs here folks, then again I take a shower every night (long haul truck driver) Refrigerator was ice cold, room didn't have any noticeable odors upon entry of the room. Lighting was ample, TV well placed aside from not being able to swivele

Bathrooms could use some remodeling, fixtures are old toilet runs at will, didn't flush on the first flush, shower enclosure is dated, shower rod as falling of the wall no breakfast. Air conditioner seems to only know on n off couldn't lower the fan speed or adjust the temperature. Bath towels were small, no separate bath mat, no kleenex in the dispenser, no sealed plastic cups for drinking out of. Tv is in a fixed position and cannot be swiveled towards the lounge chair. Lounges in the lobby at both closed as was the pool which is outside. Weight room was closed as was the public room to use desktop or printer The day I was in my room I heard was sounded like someone was using a hammer and making a racket of a noise.

Even without a Do Not Disturb on my door, I was left alone. Highly recommend using the Door Dash app to order food in with. Especially during covid season There's a small apartment size refrigerator in the rooms along with a microwave oven

The toilet doesn't flush completely. Thin walls, you can hear other people's conversations especially arguments clearly, bath linens especially the towels, very small and abrasive, shower rod is falling off the wall Breakfast hours aren't suited for those who like to sleep in, in the morning. 6 to 9 isn't sufficient, should be at a minimum 10-1030 Aside from the soda/pop vending the candy machine is sold out. The pool is closed, would have been nice to use as it is outside the public areas,ie Gym room, Computer areas and lounges are closed due to the CCP virus
