The location is great (4 miles from Monument Valley), the Bedroom Villa where we stayed was perfect for our family of 5, and the apartment was clean and had all the basics that we needed. Great view of Monument Valley.
I booked a room for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children) and I was offered a "standard room with 2 double beds". This room is outdated, smells bad and does not have space for extra bed. I was offered an upgrade but I had to pay the same amount I have already paid. After some discussions (and showing that I have booked a room for 5 people), they offered me a "one-bedroom villa" accommodation without any extra charge. That was perfect for our family. Breakfast is not included. We did not use the pool as it did not look clean.

View. Private and quiet. It was pricey to stay here once night but it was a perfect day to explore from Moab to Monument Valley. We did Valley if the Gods on our way here and Forest Gump Road so we arrived here around 5 pm. Everything is here: gas, grocery, pool, laundry mat, and of course location. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. We had a cabin and we’re pleasantly surprised to find it had two rooms and a full kitchen. We went to The View hotel just 5 miles away to view the sunset at their viewing point around 8 pm as it was to cloudy at our place and then got up and viewed the sunrise from our patio. Did our exploration of Monument Valley after.
Wifi was dodgy but that’s to be expected I guess.

This was a wonderful place to stay with amazing views of Monument Valley. We stayed in the cabins, which were so much nicer than we expected. Very clean and spacious. We only stayed one night but wish we would have stayed longer. The motel area has a cute gift shop, museum and lots of cool stuff to see. You can't beat the amazing views. The restaurant was good but a little pricey.
We loved out stay, so nothing negative to say. Only a heads up that the cabins are in an area away from the main motel area. It isn't really walkable, you need to drive. So to use the pool, the restaurant, etc, you need to drive. If that bothers you, make sure to get a room in the motel.

Loved the view from our 1st floor balcony n table n 2 chairs. Lovely because the sun was behind us by 11am, but git to see beautiful sunrises over Monm.Valley. Shower, bed, roomy room wonderful. Would like a micro wave to heat up my cold coffee n sweet roll. But Frig was terrific. Towels were like new, beige n nice. Bed linens yummy. Dinners were super goid, the Ck Quesidilla - amazing! Navajo Taco was more like a huge fried tortilla bowl with great items, including yummy chili. Wait staff so nice, esp Vangeline. Hostess was not. Perfect location if you're visiting Monum. Valley. They have cute things rt at the lodge to do, theater with old John Wayne n John Ford pics made at Monm Valkey, a museum, gift shop n indoor swimming pool. NICE
It wasn't clear exactly how to get to the handicap area for ez entrance to Dining Room. So many steps to get inside.. Some one shoukd explain how " bad" the roads are inside Monum.Valley...oh boy, no wpnder it takes 3.5 hrs to go 17 miles.

The villas are amazing. They offer lots of facilities, the restaurant was amazing, we had both dinner and breakfast and they were both excellent.
The problem with villas is that if you don’t get one on first row, then the view is so and so, since you have other villas in the front.

Comfortable two bedroom apartment with full kitchen (very large fridge/freezer, oven, stovetop and 2 micros) a short trail walk from Reception. It was surrounded by red rocks with a restricted view across to the MV skyline but that was fine. Short walk at dawn to see the MV plain which was lovely. Nice pod coffee maker which pierces the pods when you close the lid. Earl Grey tea bags provided but no kettle so used a saucepan to boil water. Wash-up liquid, scourer sponge pad, wiping cloth, tea towel and kitchen roll provided. Amenity pack of shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion provided. Happy enough for a one-off stay as pricey for just the two of us, but obviously better value for more people.
The appt was mostly clean, but the fridge handle and door were dirty. There was only an oven tray and inset to use in the oven, but both of those were really dirty. An ovenproof dish or some tin foil would be useful as the whole point for us getting this appt was being able to self cater. The larger microwave didn't have a glass plate in it so was unusable. There wasn't a can opener. I mentioned to Reception upon check-out but they didn't seem interested although they were fairly friendly. The A/C was efficient but very noisy. The room was a bit stuffy when we arrived but the windows did open.

"Definitive" view of the valley right from the comfort of our own room. Mesmerising to see the effects of light changing from dawn to dusk. Excellent guided tour by knowledgeable Navajo guide to parts of the valley not generally open to the public direct from reception. Large room and comfortable bed. Nice restaurant and don't miss the very interesting little museum in the old general trading post on-site.
Nothing really, Room wasn't made up over the two days of our visit but this wasn't a problem. Didn't affect us but stair climbing is needed from car parking to room so check if this will cause problems. Similarly from lower rooms up to restaurant (though this could be driven).

Everything about this place was outstanding aside from the restaurant and restaurant experience.
The restaurant is like going to Disneyland. Run them in and run them out with canned food. Had the Navajo taco; chili was canned all other ingredients aside from the Indian Fry Bread were low end--cheese, iceberg lettuce, etc. It is as if the hotel and restaurant are separate operations, which in reality they are since the hotel catersntonthe guests and the restaurant has to accommodate everyone from guests to huge tour buses, to other tourists.
