The hotel location was convenient to places we were seeing, so that worked out very well for us. It's 15 minutes or so from downtown Staunton. It's close to the highway, but far enough that traffic noise wasn't noticeable. The room and bathroom appeared recently renovated and were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The full continental breakfast with waffles is always a hit and was well stocked and fresh. This location went away from the shampoo/condition samples and simply had a dispenser on the shower wall, which I liked.

The water pressure was less than I'm used to having, but I was able to shower just fine and the water warmed up quickly. I figure it's worth a mention as I know some people would be upset by this. The heating/cooling until in the room made a medium rattle when operating, which did wake me up during the night. However, the night was cooler than expected, so it was running frequently and kept my room very toasty.

The location was excellent as we were in the area for shows at the ASC. The room was clean and comfortable with a quiet AC unit. The hotel was full but I didn't hear any of the other people. Breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and a good variety. The staff was helpful and friendly as always. This is my second stay at this location and I will definitely stay here again when we're back in town.

Honestly, I was fine with everything. In a previous review, I said the water pressure was a little low for the shower, but the water is warm so it still works for me. Some people would complain about that, so there it is.

Location was a little out of the way off the main road so made it more pleasant and quieter. Everyone was polite and friendly (it has been years since I experienced a hotel stay where all staff encountered were polite and/or friendly). My room was clean. The hotel was quiet. The room above me made a lot of noise for a few hours (mostly just running across the room constantly) but even they stopped by a reasonable hour. Based on how quiet the night had been, I expected the hotel to be empty the next morning but the parking lot was full. I was impressed with the sound-proofing of the rooms as well as the quality of guests that must have stayed there overnight. (I have stayed in multiple lesser hotels in Staunton - drug paraphernalia,.strong odors of smoke of multiple varieties etc.). Breakfast was simple and quiet and staff were working diligently to keep if stocked + tables clean. At this price point, I was extremely happy with my stay.

The AC unit was not the most efficient but it worked well enough. No major complaints at all.

Just a 10 minute drive from Staunton & all it's restaurants & shops. Property was completely renovated a year ago, so rooms are new & super clean. Free-standing Starbucks within 100 yards (same side of highway) & newly-renovated Food Lion within 300 yards for grocery/incidental needs. 30 seconds from the Interstate; very convenient.

Not really any restaurants close that I was interested in eating at (mainly fast-food establishments & 2 "restaurants" with not-so-good internet reviews).

Breakfast was good. The room was very clean. And I was impressed with how nice and new the area looked. It looked like it was a new hotel, but they said it was there for years. The young man at the desk, that checked me in, was my favorite part of my stay. He was very pleasant. And very helpful.

Very nice Motel to stay in I haven't stayed in a motel in many years the bed was very comfortable the room was very clean the location was great I was at JMU and traveled here for a room the only thing I would say negative is the TV it has nothing to watch don't know what it is they use for their cable but they need something different so there are channels to look at

Friendly professional staff, location very convenient to I-81, very clean room with up to date finishes, nice shower, good television, very comfortable bed and bedding, quiet. This was a great one night stay at a very fair price.

Location feels a little isolated. Would have liked being a little closer to downtown Staunton. Only gas station, McDonalds, Starbucks within walking distance.

Everything from convenience to the amazing and professional staff!!! Even when we needed something urgently, they were quick to get it to us. We would definitely stay there again!!!

One guest came flying into the parking lot at a high rate of speed and almost hit our dog. But we did report it to the front desk and they said they’d speak to the guest

The staff was great! The room was good and so was the breakfast. We would stay here again in a minute if we're traveling through or coming to the Staunton area. It looked like the rooms were getting an update, and that would be fantastic for all the rooms!

Having the rooms disconnected from the office and breakfast area. Nothing can be done about that, but in inclement weather, it is a real bummer.

The room was clean, comfortable, and with a good variety of pillows (from soft to hard). The breakfast was very nice 👌. The location was very convenient for our road trip. The staff was very nice and the breakfast lady was great, she was refilling the food and drinks as soon as they ran out.

The room had an old / closed space smell. It will be good to put an air freshener.
