The attention to details with thick towels and great quality sheets and bedding. My room was 5+ clean! The products they supply; shampoo, conditioner, and soap are a nice quality as well. Many channels to select from via the cable options, they also have movies in the lobby. The managers/owners have thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable. Nice size ice box/freezer with the frig, Good coffee offered with the small coffee maker in the room. Excellent air conditioning that is quiet!

There was not a view, but for the price point, the room was an excellent value.

Beautiful property. We were greeted by curious deer near the entrance to our room. Our room was beyond exceptional. A beautiful view, comfy bed and huge oversized bath. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There was a cozy couch, fireplace and balcony. I can safely say this is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed! Definitely hope to go back for another stay.

Room and bed were comfy. We appreciate Kate’s being able to top up our plug in hybrid in our parking spot (we brought our own extension cord but didn’t need it as for our room (#1) the power outlet was right next to the car. We also appreciated the extras available in the common room/lobby (toasters, electric kettle, picnic ware, mugs, silverware, extra coffee, creamer, ice). We even used the room w couch and chairs for a game night with our friends. The hosts were very responsive via texting.

Location was fantastic for exploring the North Cascades area. The room was probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Not a single scuff mark on the walls or spot of dust. Impressive! We were concerned about noise having a room facing the road, but the room came with a white noise machine and it was actually much more quiet than we anticipated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable as well.

Mt Gardner Inn is located in walking distance to the town center and nordic trails. Because the main house is set back from the Highway, it is very quiet and car noise was not an issue.

If you stay in one of the downstairs units and are a light sleeper, we recommend bringing ear plugs. As with most wooden structures, the noise from upstairs carries.

Location to Winthrop Downtown. Easy parking. Grounds were immaculate. Room had a very welcoming cozy feeling. The common room/lobby had an amazing setup for those staying with movies, games, and a variety of books about the area.

A little to much floral scent leftover from cleaning. Had to air the room a bit. Wish there were better sidewalks out to the establishment. Maybe connect to the walking path behind the establishment.

We loved everything about Mt Gardner Inn! The cleanest room I've ever stayed for sure. Every detail was thought of and fit the vibe of the room perfectly - we especially loved the white noise machine. The lobby was well-appointed and we were lucky enough to stay at the front of the building which included a covered seating area. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Just so we could have something to say here, my mom mentioned that the shower curtain was a little bit too long, lol :)

Charming, hotel-like rooms with thematic decor- our room was all about pheasants! Very clean. Nice location, next to a pizza restaurant and movie theater. Hosts were quick to communicate.

Beautiful main floor room in a beautiful meadow-like setting, just off the main road into town and less than a mile from the Winthrop "city center". Nothing like a table and chairs outside the back door, with butterflies checking out the flowers to set the scene for relaxation. Very clean and comfortable!

Short walk to the heart of downtown Winthrop, much of it along a dedicated walking path. Mt Gardner Inn owners and staff are very service oriented. COVID protocols continue to be in place with an emphasis on limited contacts when checking in and out. Thank you! Online descriptions were detailed and honest - for example we stayed in a room that was identified as being closer to the highway but that the highway was very quiet overnight…correct on both counts. We were able to sleep with the window open overnight and it was quiet with just the occasional vehicle between 11pm and 7am.

Everything was as we expected. No complaints. Would stay here again.
