This was by far the best experience my family and I had during a hotel stay in a very long time. I couldn't find one thing that needed to be improved upon. The entire facility was kept extremely clean...including our room. Nightly maid service was great the have back...especially after the long days we spent exploring Madison and its greater metropolitan area. It was really nice to come back to a freshly cleaned room. The staff was very nice and always greeted us with a smile and friendly hello. Sandy at the front desk was especially friendly, pleasant and attentive to our needs. She helped us out with any request (i.e. more sets of towels, toiletries, daily maid service) right away...and also with a great smile! In addition, Sandy and all of the other staff members we encountered seemed like they genuinely liked what they did there, as opposed to treating it like it was just a job. The daily breakfast which was included with the price of the room was always very fresh and had a great variety of foods to choose from...and always had plenty of food stocked no matter what time it was or how many people were eating on a particular day. We loved that automatic pancake machine! Overall an A+++ experience!

The one thing I found just slightly annoying was slight quick dips in the water pressure occasionally during a shower. I assume this was just due to others taking showers and using toilets and sinks at that same time. Its definitely not a big deal and no reason at all to not stay here.

Modern superclean hotel ,really very nice to stay at - got a grab & go bag with snack & bottle of water when we checked out 👍

Location was across some event center ( no noise) where I expected it to be at the lakeside.But nevertheless our stay there was great! Hotel was on a parallel road,where only the hotel and the Sheraton where situated.Short drive from city ctr & university

We were thrilled it was pet friendly. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast plans so didn't eat there but it looked really good. The dog did have a little scrambled eggs and bacon and gave it two paws up! The bed was super comfy. Whole place was clean and very quiet despite the fact that it was pet friendly and our room was by the elevators.

The breakfast was decent. My kids enjoyed making their own pancakes, they thought that was pretty neat.

They ran out of biscuits for the biscuits and gravy option :( . Also the GPS directions didn't take us through the actual entrance, we had to back track to find our way around.

Great location, loved the breakfast, very clean, all staff were super friendly and accommodating!

Price was a little expensive per night. I think mainly because of the CrossFit Games event at the Alliant Centre.

Staff was very friendly and provided us with a map of Madison. Our preferences were all fulfilled (room on upper floor, quiet room, rooms close together). Location close to downtown (not in walking distance, but easy to reach by car). Parking is available.

Room is slightly smaller than average

We had an excellent stay here at this Location. From the staff at the service desk, to the rooms & the breakfast. It all was very nice & relaxing. The shuttle service was very accommodating for us to & from the Badger game & when we went out to eat later in the day. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Definitely staying here again when we come back to Madison

There wasn't anything we didn't like, except maybe the temperature of the pool at first. A little chilly, but when we mentioned it to the staff they checked it out & raised the temp Otherwise a great stay

This is one of the best hotels for the money in Madison. Thank God they found a shuttle driver because we used the shuttle to travel downtown and that was one of the reasons we picked Holiday Inn in that location. Christopher & the very energetic blonde were awesome people!!!

Two things - I thought we reserved a 2 queen w/sofa but our room didn’t have a sofa. Not a huge deal but I thought that was off. Second thing - toilet paper holders didn’t “roll” freely. I mean who made that decision? Such a great hotel - why have non rolling TP holders.

The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly! The beds, like all HI Express locations, are exceptional. Very comfortable. Simple and fast check-in/out process. Great to have an e-bike rental terminal just down the road.

Breakfast was just "ok", but it was free and I know what to expect with hotel continental breakfasts.

Everything except view, but that wasn't important as it was bitter cold and snowy. The staff and the hotel lobby were impressive. Our room as well. A beautiful choice and unexpected. Would stay again.
