The stay was very good. The desk staff was excellent and took care of all of our needs promptly. The breakfast in the lobby is very nice, good coffee! We have stayed at the American Inn many times and will continue to stay here when we are in Minocqua. We were up for the busy July 4th weekend and the staff was excellent in taking care of the many guests at the hotel. We need a first floor room and the desk was sure we got one. We needed to extend our stay and that was not a problem either.

Bathrooms are somewhat small.

The woman who checked us in around 10pm on May 28th was fantastic. We originally hadn't planned to be traveling with a puppy, but when we got there she ensured we were right by the door on the first floor so we could easily take her out at night. She was super friendly, helpful, got our trailer parking figured out (easy - they have a great big lot perfect for parking boats and trailers) and was very accommodating. They have a nice big lawn with fire pits and picnic tables and the rooms were great. Location can't be beat! Thanks guya

location is amazing and staff is receptive and supportive.

it is a little run down. get’s lots of tread so hallways don’t appear super clean and rooms could use some updates. No usb and not enough working plugs for charging. stayed a couple times and rooms were different one much cleaner and brighter. it is super pricey for what it is - but that’s supply and demand in the summer!

We always love staying at Americinn. We walk in the lobby and feel at home. There's a warm welcome, great room, and awesome breakfast every time!

It was a little bigger than most and the walk back and forth to the lobby was a ways but it was good for us. It also would be nice to have an elevator but we made due with our luggage and will pack lighter next trip!

Alana wolf was super helpful, we really enjoyed talking with her. Barb was also very helpful. Everything we asked or requested was addressed. Definitely will stay there again, just for the warm cookies alone! Lol.

Small workout room that was really cold and it Didnt have an eliptical.

Location was wonderful. Breakfast and I have always had plenty stations were very clean. Staff Friendly courteous and polite

The showerhead in our room could’ve been better very low pressure made it difficult getting soap out of your hair. The cost for a week stay it will be a little nicer if there was a discount when you’re staying a full week

Manager was very accommodating in altering room arrangements at last minute allowing for changes due to number of family members actually showing up. As well, altering location to meet changed needs. Unusually well done!!!

Some people may want more amenities. This facility suited our needs exceeding well - great pool/hot tub with comfortable seating to allow grandparents to monitor children in pool comfortably.

The natural environment, the helpful front desk, the family feel, I felt safe and welcome. I also appreciated milk for breakfast and apples setting out all day

While I appreciated the aquatic center, if I had my choice I'd have appreciated an outdoor pool too. I probably would have eaten at your establishment,but the days and hours were not open

Loud semi truck running entire night out our back window in the hotel parking lot! So not cool.

Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was in good condition inside the room. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The location is close to downtown
