It was quite and the Hotel Management was great! Comfortable!

We had our dogs with us and when the Smoke alarm beeped, early a.m., one of our dogs barked - one little bark. Turned out a person staying next door was disturbed. Not sure how but I know he called the Management to complain. Nothing one can do about the person's attitude but regardless, we are early risers and I'm guessing it wasn't the dog at all but rather our showering and getting ready for the day. So if anything negative, the walls between rooms might be too thin. I'd recommend the Motel.

Located in the countryside with large yard around motel to walk dog and enjoy the nature setting.

The room itself was very musty smelling and wasn’t decorated attractively nor updated. The air conditioning unit sounded to be on its last leg and wasn’t effective at producing the temps I set thermostat on the a/c to operate at desirable degrees. It was older but price wasn’t bad for the place and staff was friendly and pets accepted with warm welcoming! I would return again to stay if I wasn’t with my children to vacation with and solo travels were the case again. The location is good with miles from Madison for easy access and convenient commute. No breakfast or coffee provided in reception area snd would be nice to have been provided in accommodation during stay.

I got a late start leaving home and heading out of town for my aunt's funeral the next day. Of course I hit ALL the traffic with it's insane drivers all wanting to be the first one home. By the time I got to the motel all I wanted to do was lay down. The check-in was a breeze due to reserving the room and the gentleman was very informed. Upon entering my room I was hit with such a warm breeze (it was 26° outside) it put such a big smile on my face. I don't have to wait for a room to heat up! Yay!! I dropped my luggage and hung my clothes for the next day and took a look around. Hmm, big. I booked last minute so what they had available was two double beds so the room was quite spacious. Microwave and wow, tallest refrigerator and biggest freezer I've ever seen for this size room, desk, couch and nice bathroom with a long shelf for quite a few items. And clean!! Oh yes, your room has a private entrance. I was satisfied and hit the bed to relax. Ahh, comfy.

I didn't like that there was no ice machine. I never heard of a place NOT having one. So I get all unpacked and all comfy and I'm going to go find ice for my soda like I have every night and nothing. Manager says we don't have one. You can buy some at the gas station. Had I of known they didn't have an ice machine (what motel doesn't have an ice machine. I mean, really?) I would of gone to the gas station BEFORE I got all relaxed and comfy. If your going to do something unusual or not the norm, don't you think the polite thing to do would be to hang a sign saying so?

The motel is on HYW 12 close to streets to down town. The owner has a hand held map of things in the city you might need. Though the motel itself is older it is painted and well maintained. If you need 2 easy easy chairs, 2 desks with lamps and a whirlpool tub or sauna shower this is not for you. If you want a comfortable bed coach nice size ref. with good size freezer and micro wave and can get along with a smaller bath room with plenty of hot water this is for you. there are also swings and slides for children and grills for guests. large tv alsol

This was a clean, comfortable motel where everything worked as it should. It wasn't perfect, but I don't really expect perfection at this price.

The floor could have been cleaner, but it was acceptable.

The shower had great pressure. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner. The free stuff in the room was great.

I did not like that every few minutes the TV would freeze or cut out. It was like there was a storm but the weather was clear while I was watching it

Location was outside of town so it was quiet. Walls made of cement block so there was no sound from other rooms. Large refrigerator in room and tv was mounted on the wall. Room overall was large.

Furniture in the room is a bit outdated. Soap in the bathroom was almost non-existent (very, very thin bar)! Water temperature in the shower was hard to control.

Very quiet area. Room was a bit dated but still very clean. Large nice tv. Mini fridge in good condition. No taxis were available at our time of checkout so a worker was very generous and gave us a ride. The owner is very nice as well! I would recommend this stay.

A little bit of a smell in the room that did eventually go away after we ran the AC for a bit.

Clean and frankly a bigger TV then what you see at other hotels. It was a great mid point stopping place for the trip we were taking.
