We were desperately looking for a place to stay the night on our drive west after encountering construction and less than ideal weather conditions. Fortunately for us the place closest to the highway was all booked up so we took a chance on Country Cabins. It was about 10 minutes southwest of Lyman and totally worth the short drive. The cabins were super cute and cozy, the beds were soft and comfy, and the overall area is very quiet. Nice hot showers with plenty a towel to dry off. The wifi was nice and strong. As others have mentioned, we parked right in front of our cabin which is good for anyone with mobility issues. In a unique twist, the place you check in shares a Chinese restaurant. We would have gotten something to eat, but we got there too late. There is a gas station with a mini mart right across the street along with a Pizza Hut if you get there late like we did and just need something. I totally recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in the area.

We are fond of the country cabins as they are exactly as expected. Charming and comfy! Each cabin has a nice kitchen area, so we can prepare simple meals and snacks. The bedroom had two very nice beds with clean and crisp linens and we were completely relaxed. We asked for a walk in shower and were accommodated nicely with our request.

This is nothing to do with our accommodations. The fires in Canada brought smoke to Wyoming and since I am allergic to smoke, we had to cut our trip short and leave the area for safety reasons. We will plan to return to Country Cabins in the future as we have family in the area and please keep Country Cabins on your list! They are terrific and the hosts are pleasant and special!

Beautifully rustic and clean cabin, nicely arranged kitchenette area with table and chairs, "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" bed. Easy check-in, check-out. Chinese restaurant on-premises.

We loved the "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" bed, but its height above the floor made it cumbersome to climb in and out. A sturdy stepstool might help. Although there was a coffee machine in the room, and eateries in town, the inn might consider making coffee/pastries/bagels available for breakfast.

Nice and clean

I had to sign in for TV streaming. This should be automatically for the guest. This is the first time I had to do this. Again it should be automatic

The beds were comfortable, the manager was friendly, the location was easy to find and it was quiet there.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were only 2 chairs inside, for 4 adults. But, the manager let us move chairs from outside so we had our place to sit.

Easy check in and lovely comfortable cabins. Park right in front of your door.

Mountain View is kind of a food desert. The only thing we could find for dinner was the cafe at the bowling alley two doors down the street. Breakfast was non-existent as the only restaurant that serves breakfast never opened. Luckily we were headed to Manila which has several good breakfast choices for the early fishing crowd.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. I drive cross-country a couple times per year visiting family, and just now found this place. Very clean rooms. Each room is a private cabin - either 2 Queens or 1 King bed. Jetted tub, shower. The room has a Roku TV which is nice - just sign in to watch Netflix, Vudu, etc. and it'll sign you out when you checkout. Mini-fridge, microwave, table & chairs, plus a little porch outside with 2 chairs to sit and enjoy the outside. Coin laundromat on-site is convenient - especially during winter months. Awesome staff! Owner had a family event the night I was to check in, so he just left my cabin unlocked with the key inside. Took care of payment when I checked out. Very understanding, trusting, and thoughtful staff. As for the location, it's only about 8min south of I-80, so very convenient. In a very small town with friendly people. There's a gas station right across the street, a supermarket nearby, a Pizza Hut, Subway, American restaurant, and a GREAT Chinese restaurant right next door too! Will be going back here every time I drive through now.

Very cute. The view was relaxing. In the grassy pasture immediately next to the property, many deer were grazing. Enjoyed watching the deer in their element. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean. Clean and comfy beds are most important.

Water for the shower was never hot, just warm. They may need to address the hot water heater.

It was such a cute cabin and very clean. It was so quiet without all the motel noises. Beds were comfy. Very enjoyable having the little cabin to ourselves.

We would have liked to have a schedule and menu for the restaurant. We would have liked some Kleenex in the room.

The staff was very helpful, and the room was cozy and a great fit for the country setting. It was comfortable, but didn't feel crowded or gimmicky with the decorations. Might sound random, but the bathroom was really nice -- clean, classy, and the jacuzzi tub/shower was wonderful.

The corners could use a little dusting. But the one thing I'd really change if I could is outside the room: there aren't any pathway lights leading up to the rooms. If a guest left their porch light switch on, it'll turn on as you pass, but if not, you're finding your way to your door with a flashlight . . .
