Everything about the property was great. the only one minor thing I would add to make it great, it would be add bottle water to the rooms and a warm cover. Everything else was great! 😊

location , right in front of the beach , food was very good and healthy , staff very friendly and helpful , Pool party and Dj at night very good , maybe a Zumba or aerobics class mid day would be good

quality of the liquors can improve so coctels can taste better , had to drink wine cause they don’t hav a decent whiskey or Ginebra brand

Each meal was solid and had lots of variety, ESPECIALLY if you like meat—there was always one of each option for dinner (fish, beef, pork, and chicken). The staff everywhere is excellent. And yes, it really is all-inclusive, even the alcohol. The room itself is nothing special, but that's not really where you're staying most of the time anyway. The beach is pretty nice, although somewhat sketchy when it's dark. The surrounding area is pretty bland and surprisingly expensive, but it at least seems relatively safe.

The tour service they use is frustrating. When the woman at the front desk is there, she's great. However, scheduling tours otherwise is a pain; it doesn't help that the descriptions are vague and the tours are more expensive than the cost of the hotel room. Twice, my tour for the day was cancelled/rescheduled, and they didn't tell me until AFTER the pickup time (which is bright and early in the morning). While the drivers and tour guides are awesome, their boss who's in charge of collecting payment is a jerk for no reason. One very minor complaint I have about the facility itself is that there isn't a bar in the pools. If they added this, I'd give them 10 stars despite the tours.

breakfast, lunch and bar facilities and staff were very good. Dinner was typical buffet style - not massive choice for vegetarian types, but I find this typical of hotel buffets. Liked the provision of ice cream for dessert choice. The hotel didn't stint on food provision and the fruit was fantastic

The draught beer in the bar wasn't the best. Again, this is a thing I find with most all inclusive hotels. Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room as well - maybe it would be available for extra charge??

The pools were all wonderful. My son (he is three) loved the shallow kids pool where he could touch. The beachside pool was beautiful as well. The staff was amazing. We had a couple issues pop up and everyone was quick to help. Also good to note, I worked remotely from the hotel and the wifi was great. I was able to have zoom meetings from the room and lobby without issue.

There is loud music that plays from 9pm to midnight. We weren't aware of that and it was a bit upsetting. However as soon as we explained we were traveling with a toddler and it was keeping us up, management was quick to move us. Our new room was fantastic.

It was a very convenient having food and drinks included, the food was pretty good, with a wide enough variety to let most people satisfy their own preferences. The pool is warm and the location of the hotel is great, leading right onto the beach. It's nice that they had games available (ping pong, foosball, billiards). The overall atmosphere was relaxing but festive. And the place is clean and has a new, rather than a run-down feeling.

There music played in the public areas was sometimes too loud, and seemed mostly downbeat. There weren't really many extras available, which is fine as long as people know in advance that it's not really a luxury resort (although it is fun resort). For example, there wasn't a spa, a gym, etc. And the rooms weren't really luxurious, although they were comfortable and clean. But it was very good overall, and this is actually the second time we've stayed there.

The hotel is a great pick for kids and family. The rooms are spacious and have great views. The food was delicious, and they captured many of the locals food, versus it just being standard hotel meals. I loved that they had 3 pools, and my child loved the splash pad. They also have a sandbox area for the smaller kids, and offer children activities.

I was in the room sequence of the 300's, located on the 3rd floor. There is NO elevator. This was an inconvenience, especially when hauling luggage of 50 lbs. The new infinity pool needs frequent cleaning, people were spitting in it and you could see phlegm floating around.

Facilities and pools were awesome and big. Drinks were good and we loved how we could always get a snack or a drink. We were actually only staying 1 night but it was so good that we stayed another night. We also had a wonderful experience with the staff , they were so kind and attentive! Kudos to Fernanda at service desk she was so professional, such a kind soul and a wonderful asset to the place 🙏🏻

The food wasn’t the best, it was good but could be better. Also the games are one of the best part like playing pool 🎱 but the cue or sticks were falling apart, also foosball were broken and falling apart. But overall it was good!

I like the security of the hotel. The food was good. I love the coffee machine in the bar. The facilities were clean and the hotel in general had great customer service. It's walking distance from the town ( pharmacy, food store, souvenirs)

There were not enough beach chairs in the pool area. There were no beach chairs in front of the beach. I would like to have hammocks around the pool area. There is plenty of space. It needs more family entertainment and family games at the lobby.

We absolutely loved our time here at the BW Jaco Beach! The staff were incredibly friendly, the entertainment was non-stop, which we loved, the property itself was large with two big pools. There was a great selection of drinks (the G&T is very good!). The food was nice with plenty to choose from! The chocolate milk at breakfast - amazing! Even though the rooms were a little tired, the bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The air con did the job as it was so hot outside. This hotel goes above and beyond to please their guests. For example, for sunset they wheeled a bar close to the entry/exit point to the beach - great attention to detail! The pool entertainment was so much fun - our stay fell on a Saturday in the hotel - the foam party and neon disco was brilliant and so much fun.

I’m being really picky, but for us personally there wasn’t a lot of shaded areas around the pool. That’s my only feedback and probably more a personal issue than a wider one.
