Room was very upscale and comfortable, quiet and elegant. Location is great, Santa Monica is such a great place to stay in LA. The lobby and sitting/dining areas were elegant and beautiful. It was a rainy weekend but the hotel felt cozy and offered umbrellas when we ventured out, called taxis and was very helpful. There was underground parking for guests which was very convenient. We loved the Tesla hotel shuttle that drove us to our venue and back. Excellent service.

Breakfast is not full scale. The phone charger in the room was not very strong and took a long time to charge. There were no extra blankets in the room, so we had to call for that.

Great location. Nice neighborhood! Very clean grounds inside and out! The decor inside the lobby, dinning area, library, outdoor lounge… all of it was gorgeous! Every single staff member I dealt with or even walked passed was so welcoming and was nicely greeted! Nick, Brandon were very hospitable! The driver Enrique was just the sweetest! Everyone was nicely dressed as well! It was a GREAT stay! I will most def stay again and recommend to anyone going to that area!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like

First of all great localization if you prefer tranquility and peacefulness. Nice restaurants and shops nearby. Wonderful mobility solution within a 3 mile radius offered via driver in his Tesla car. Very nice staff with warm welcoming attitude and who has been always helpful. Comfortable and silent room with great equipments (nice beds and great TV program selection HD quality) , nice and well decorated lobby area for relaxing. Gym was a nice extra . So it was the perfect place to begin my stay in the LA area.

Organization of the room servicing should be better organized (when we want to avoid the wasteful daily cleaning) and not let it be at the mercy of the agents who are supposed to leave by 5pm. Just a minor hiccup

Very pleasant stay. The staff was very nice and the room was comfortable and clean.

Complimentary beer and wine from 5-7pm is a great bonus. Also, complimentary water and coffee available 24h. The bikes are also a good plus, the e-bike (for rent) is amazing! Friendly staff made me feel like home

We love Santa Monica so we chose Ambrose Hotel for the second time. Best location, safe and convenient with plenty of underground parking. Overall a great hotel.

1. Shower pressure could be better but I understand there is a drought in LA 2. Guests from a wedding party also lived at the hotel and were making a lot of noise after midnight. I had a room facing the courtyard which is why it was quite noisy. 3. Does not offer daily room cleaning service. Need to request a room cleaning the night before. I know it's hard to fill room cleaning jobs nowadays, but for a hotel that charges 300-500 per night, it should be a basic amenity. 4. Booking.com charged me 500 per night but had I booked it directly with the hotel a few days before our arrival, I would've probably only paid 300.

The room and bathroom was large. Quiet location, with the window closed. Good Wi-Fi access. Free aperitif and Tesla service are a good idea. Nice ambience, secure underground parking. Very good location.

At check-in we were told that the Ambrose Hotel is a "Green Hotel" and therefore the rooms are cleaned only every three days. However, we can tell the staff when we need fresh towels. A little disappointing for the rather high price. On booking.com we chose Traditional Studio with king size bed, 30m2 with patio/veranda and walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the pictures and description from booking.com did not match the room we received (Traditional Studio). We had a bathtub instead of walk-in-shower and a super small balcony where barely two chairs fit. At the reception we were told that the pictures from booking.com are not correct.

I recently stayed at Ambrose Hotel and had a wonderful experience! The staff at the reception desk were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel also provided free bicycle rentals and shuttle service, which was a nice touch and made getting around town a breeze. The room was also fantastic - it was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the gym was well-equipped and provided a great workout experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in LA. The exceptional service and amenities truly made my trip unforgettable.

Handy Car Parking Facilities at a good price, handy having hot drinks available all day in the reception area, no kettle in room but one is available on request. Staff super friendly and helpful, every interaction with all the staff was good. They service the rooms every 3 days but happy to take rubbish and change towels or get the room cleaned more frequently if required. Nice sized room and comfy bed. Nice toiletries and a good sized gym. Really handy for a work trip and great fast WIFI

The only thing would be it’s right next to a Hospital so you do hear ambulances go by. my room was right at the front so might have been that but it didn’t disturb my sleep as I’m a deep sleeper but just something to take into consideration if you’re a light sleeper might want to ask for a room at the back of the hotel instead.
