I loved the decor and style of the hotel plus the location. I told myself that if I’m in BA again, I’d definitely want to stay there again. It’s right in the center of town meaning you’re close to everything you might need. I also tried their room service which was delicious. I simply loved it.

Great location on Av. de Mayo. Literally next door to Palacio Barolo, within a 10-minute walk to the National Congress building and close to Teatro Colon, Plaza de Mayo, etc. Av. Corrientes which is like the theater district is also a 10-minute walk. Staff was knowledgeable and sent us to the right places. Very professional. Mix of tourists and business people. Rooms were mid-sized and comfortable.

In a country where even the smallest cafe has coffee that is outstanding (and Starbucks doesn't have a chance in hell because of that), the coffee at breakfast was bitter and burnt. Breakfast had a lot of variety but was identical every single day. For those living at the hotel for several days it's like "Same thing today?!".

The Art Nouveau decor is charming and tasteful as are the tango-themed details such as the bathroom tiles. I loved it. And the unbeatable location allowed me to take advantage of a comprehensive 2.5-hour Free Walks tour meeting up a few blocks nearby. Staff members were welcoming and super helpful, allowing me to check in several hours early. The hotel actually shares a wall with the famous landmark, Palacio Barolo! You'll probably have to stand in line, but don't miss out on a visit to Café Tortoni a few blocks down Avenida de Mayo.

Location is excellent. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Room is spacey. Overall the hotel is good and make us feel safe. Bonus point to the very close distance to the Palacio Barolo.

NOTE that not every room in this hotel has windows! Fortunately our room has window but our friends' does not and they did book a room with window. The hotel cannot solve this problem because it's fully booked that day - so be aware whether your booking is with window or not.

Very good location, to explore the city. The starting point for GreyLine Tourist Bus is just 5 minutes away, which is a big advantage. There are many small restaurants, super markets etc. around the hotel, which is a great advantage. The property itself is very well and lovingly renovated. Reception, lobby, restaurant and rooms are very nice. Being a property situated in the middle of the city of course offers no good view from the room, which is sad but understandable.

I would have been happy if the reception staff was more informed and interested in informing about how to explore the city better. In the past I have experienced many city hotels where the reception staff had may tips and also options to offer, which could be booked at the reception itself. Adding that facility would be great value addition. I also feel, the breakfast a bit mediocre and lac creativity, especially with the vegetarian options. They could add a lot of value for theirs guests here.

Brilliant central location a few steps from metro station and many bus routes. Walking distance to Teatro Colon, Casa Rosado, etc. Friendly and considerate staff who go the extra mile to make one comfortable. Good restaurant especially the business lunch on weekdays. The restaurant staff were especially nice. Super hot water in showers were a joy and I hate showers. Lovely decor and period detail everywhere. Large room for modest upgrade. Make no mistake this is not a bland modern hotel but if you prefer character this might be for you.

Initial problems with heating solved quickly but the dining room was always cold

Nice staff, who knew good enough English. Rooms were clean. Water pressure was phenomenal. Breakfast is light and has all the essentials (coffee, eggs, ham, bread, yogurt, fruits etc.). Lovely eclectic boutique style rooms.

Air conditioning was finicky. We had no control, therefore, happy we were there in the winter.

Room and hotel were absolutely charming! I loved the decor - it was so artistic and the colour schemes and decor were great. The breakfast was wonderful - there were a number of choices at the buffet, and lots of space to sit. It was very comfortable. Check-in was smooth as was check-out. Sad that I could only stay here a day (I tried to reserve for other days but - unsurprisingly - it was booked). I would stay again!

The bed could have been bigger - a queen would have been welcome. What I came to realise as I travelled in South America is that beds are small...so, nothing out of the ordinary, here.

The staff were excellent. I left my phone in the taxi and both Franco and Yasmin on reception were great - really supportive and helped with the computer and calling the driver who didn't speak English. He found the phone and they arranged for him to return it to me at the hotel later that evening. They were both really friendly and happy to help. Other staff directed me to a good currency exchange office, the restaurant provided free drinking water for our bottles and check in/out was quick and easy. The hotel location is perfect on one of the main streets and very close to Congress and Plaza de Mayo. The hotel was clean and had a buzzer that you had to ring to get in with security in the foyer. Our room was cool and comfortable and the bathroom a good size. The dome bar at the top of the hotel was a great place to finish the evening. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The decor was outstanding, tango-themed, very easy on the eyes! Our room was gorgeous,so spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff, from the front desk to the breakfast room were so friendly and extremely helpful. The location was convenient, walking distance to many places of interest and not too far by public transport, such as uber, to others. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar, with views of some of the most buildings in Buenos Aires, such as the Palacio Barolo. Highly recommend this hotel 👍👍
