I’ve been to 25+ Selinas worldwide. Each one has been amazing, but this one has the best staff and vibe by far. Everyone in reception (Juan, Iris, Ari, Lucho, Sebas, etc) is phenomenal – extremely friendly, well-organized, and obviously very good at their jobs. A strong team that management can be very proud of. The bar staff is also super professional and keeps up no matter how busy it gets, which is really impressive considering how popular it is. The maintenance staff is exceptionally friendly and the place couldn’t be cleaner. Selina has once again beautifully managed to incorporate the environment into their brand, and this one is true to the famous nightlife in Córdoba. They have quality events/parties with incredible live music and talented local DJ’s almost every night. It’s the place to be if you’re in Córdoba for the social scene. And as always – beautiful amenities (pool, balcony for each dorm) and cushy, comfortable beds.

My only concern is noticing the crazy shifts reception is working. I hope management is taking good care of them. This place gets busy. As a digital nomad, it has been nice to work and stay at a Selina that isn’t as overpowered by co-work culture as their other locations. Thank you guys, I’ll be back 🫶🏼

The room had the wow factor - think it was a suite. Very large room with lovely balcony. Very nice facilities in the room - good fridge, dolce gusto coffee maker, netflix and other streaming services. Large comfortable bed, excellent WiFi. Very nice warm pool. Good view from the balcony. Also able to use the communal kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff. Only 2 detractions from our stay - weather a bit cool so not able to enjoy balcony and swimming pool on one day and unfortunately Neuva Cordoba is party central. There is a nightclub next to the hotel which pounds out music fro 12 to 5 in the morning. The better room meant we were high enough to avoid some of the noise.

As stated above unfortunately the hotel is next to a nightclub. A better room blocks out some of the noise. Also if you get to sleep early you may sleep through.

The location is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the bar is pretty fun and the other guests are also very chatty. It's a great place to travel, work (great wi-fi) and make friends.

At Selina, you pay for every little thing. Like towels for showering. I also honestly didn't enjoy the breakfast. I'd recommend buying your own stuff and making it yourself – I sat on a table with two other girls and none of us enjoyed the breakfast. The medialunas were great, though. Unlike the overly sweet caipirinhas.

Comfy beds, double pillows, big lockers, lights and sockets for each bed, curtains on beds. Kitchen is stocked with the bare essentials. Could use with proper cutting knives though. Hair dryers in bathroom. Super friendly staff who always gave a warm greeting whenever you seen them. Hostel in great location. Would probably stay again.

Something to note before booking, we stayed here september 18-21, and the hostel was doing renovations on alot of the social areas. So a portion of the hostel was not accessible. So there was really no where to just chill out other than the kitchen and the reception area. So maybe before you book see if the hostel has completed their renovations. Our shower in our dorm was blocked and so when you would shower it would fill up and you would be basically be standing in ankle deep water.

I can’t complement this place enough. A very cool setup with the speak-easy style bar and solid restaurant, swimming pool and daily activities. But for me the value began and ended with the staff. The friendliest I’ve encountered on my travels so far. Everyone who did a bar or reception shift from 23-28 May 2023 deserves a raise! So warm and welcoming. It was hard to say goodbye, but I will find a way to be back!

That I had to leave it.

Definitely the comfiest bed I have had in a hostel ever! You get two pillows, fluffy blankets and a curtain for privacy that blocks out light. Really amazing. The common areas are very big and there's also a garden outside with a pool for warmer days! Location is also really great, just a few steps from the Capuchino church and lots of cafes and restaurants. I also felt very safe in this area.

The bathroom flooded easily and was therefore difficult to keep clean. The common area downstairs would play incredibly loud music during the whole day also during breakfast which seemed a bit unnecessary.

The location was great, especially if you want to enjoy Cordóba’s nightlife. Also close to a lot of restaurants and cafes. Staff was great, friendly and very professional at the same time. They new their stuff!

Dorms were small and crowded and rooms were not very sound proof. Because of the location in Nueva Cordoba this also means that if you want early nights and is a light sleeper you should being ear plugs. Lots of parties and live music in the night from Wed-Sat/Sun.

Location was awesome.

It was fairly noisy at night. We kind of expected that and we were cool, but I can see others getting a little upset. Everytime the door of the bar on the first floor opened onto the patio, there was a burst of noise.

The reality is it’s situated next to a nightclub that plays music till 5am on the weekends. If you can deal with that then this is a great place to stay, if not I’d suggest somewhere else
