Great rooms with balconies and views of the forest, the wings of the hotel are connected by outdoor passages, which really enhances the experience of actually being in the forest. Nice pool area, good for relaxing after hiking in the national park, fantastic breakfast and dinners with both Argentinian, international and local specialties, all absolutely delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also highly recommend a guided visit of the Guarani community a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel.

we stayed one night, arriving after exploring the Brazilian side of iguazu falls and departing the following evening after exploring the Argentinian side comfortable room staff call the taxi for you because uber was not reliable there due to location short taxi ride to iguazu falls and to the airport good food at the on-site restaurant luggage storage during the day was helpful

shower - temperature was hard to get exactly right (easy to get too hot or too cold); two shower heads - rainshower had low pressure, hand-held one had good pressure but when it was mounted it could not be angled down

Everything about this hotel was nothing but excellent. The room, the cleanliness, the comfort etc'. But above all - it is their incredible service and hospitality. As part of their amazing hospitality, they offered us a room to take a quick (and much needed) shower after visiting the Iguazu park and before leaving on a long trip back home. What a nice and exceptional gesture that made a huge difference for us. This is a true understanding of customers' needs. All this, without extra charge. Highly appreciated.

The staff was exceedingly helpful and cheerful, the dinners were very good, the room was exceptional--- glass all around to view the forest and the room was quite substantial in size. Everything was kept constantly cleaned and it was amazing that in the middle of the jungle this property was spotless and free of bugs! It was as pleasant as could be!

We were disappointed that the pool was under repair or reconstruction during the period in which we were there. Also, the breakfast was attractive but left a bit to be desired. There was no yogurt to eat with fruit, or avocados, but there were always scrambled eggs and many choices of breads and pastries.

Staff was perfect, they were quite helpful. Hotels location was amazing if u need to chill and relax a bit this hotel is amazing. Room was clean and spacious, view was perfect. Pool has sorrounded with trees and nature, it was special

Breakfast could be better was ok,not the best. More or less same things everyday. I had a dinner at the restaurant; empanadas was fine but the rest was quite ordinary, french fries was not crispy

Rooms: Stayed in the superior king room, the bedroom was good, although it was surprisingly noisy around at night. The bathroom was clean and fine. Rooms were cleaned well each day. TV had sports channels showing European football and the minibar food snacks were a fair price. Location: 5 mins drive into Puerto Iguazu, 15 mins to the entrance of the National Park. Makes it a decent location. Front desk: Helpful in sorting things out for you and answering questions. Can book taxis for you to visit the falls, or to cross the border into Brazil, either to see that side or to go to the airport. Prices about 15-20 USD for a taxi to the Brazilian airport, same to the Argentine falls, or 30-35 USD to the Brazilian falls.

Breakfast: Main disappointment here, limited amount of hot food which wasn't too tasty. Fruit and pastries in abundance but lacking in proper hot breakfast options. Pool: Icy cold, didn't see anyone using it. Jacuzzi is mildly warm and comfortable, although not kept very clean with all the trees around.

Everything regarding Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru was amazing. The entirely staff was always helpful, with a great smile and ready to help. Front desk and buffet staff always with a great attitude and smiling. Special Thanks and recognition to Ervin Foerster.. He was our designated driver. What a great personality and so easy going. He’s mind is well set to treat clients the way clients should always treated. Very respectful, professional, alway o time. Impressive!!

Honestly, there is nothing about the property that we didn’t like. Everything and everyone was amazing. I was really impressed

Very nice hotel and excellent staff. They let you refill your bottles of water - very much appreciated.

Music playing at the pool is not adecuate for the place. Immersed in the sounds of the jungle while listening to "Summertime sadness" and electronic music felt off. Place is far away from the city centre so keep this in mind if you are staying longer.

Most comfortable high spec hotel with charming English speaking staff. Great location out of town. Reception can easily call a taxi to get to the falls/town. Although we flew in and out of IGU we preferred this hotel to anything on the other side. No problems crossing the border with a sep transfer.

Need to enforce the smoking zone.

The room was a good size on the ground floor with a small balcony and a view towards the swimming pool and gardens. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the evenings and enjoy the sunset. The Staff were all excellent and went out of their way to assist in anyway possible, really enhancing our stay. The food in the restaurant and bar was also very good.

The hotel seems to need updating in some areas.
