The view from unit 502 was amazing. The view of the sea, morning sunrises and ships on the horizon. We used the kitchenette and found it not lacking in anything. The unit we booked was a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and it was very spacious. Not at all squidgy as in others we have stayed in. The staff asked if we would like the two single beds pushed together and it was done by the time we arrived. There was a table with chairs as well as a breakfast bar with two stools. That is where my brother spent his afternoons watching the ocean with the boats and ships going past. When we arrived, through no fault at all of the property, we had problems using the lift and one of the managers came and cheerfully helped us to reach the fifth floor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, could have not asked for more. We had to alter the day of our booking by one day and the staff and booking.com went out of their way to help us. We will be back one day in the future.

An upgrade was graciously offered,so we found ourselves on the 5th floor instead of the ground floor.A lift and underground parking were greatly appreciated.We were blown away by the views on all sides - I say all sides because there was a view even from the bathrooms! The wind was howling,the surf was growling and that added to the dramatic view. The beds were very comfortable,the large ensuite with spa bath and the shower room were bright and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped,with a full-size fridge as well (spotless,by the way).

Perhaps there could be an entrance door stopper and the balcony French doors could not lock (which I reported).

Clean and comfortable, great location easy walk to beach.

We were told to collect keys from the lock box because reception was closed on good friday, we did as instructed and did not find keys, then found someone in reception with our keys for check in. For check out we were told to leave keys with reception if open, sign on door said reception was closed Sundays, however after further inspection we found someone was at reception, we went in to drop off keys and she was surprised we were checking out, but took our keys anyway. Some consistency with this would definitely save frustration and confusion for guests..

A very comfortable apartment for our family, and in a great location. Appreciated the pool to cool off after days out and about. The beds and lounge were a notch above the usual standard accommodation options.

I think there are some permanent residents in the complex. Some children were told off by an elderly gent for playing too loudly in the pool one afternoon. They were just having fun on their summer school holidays, and nothing excessive, so this put a bit of a dampener on the day.

Stunning location, close to the beach and a few lovely cafes. About a 5 min drive into town. Two bedroom apartment was very spacious.

A few things in the apartment need a little update, some difficulties opening cupboards in the kitchen and the oven was difficult to use/broken. Very minor things that are easy to deal with. Also the main bedroom could use with a curtain upgrade, the hallway light from outside the apartment shines right in.

First the staff were very friendly and approachable. The apartment was clean and the ocean view was just what we wanted. I appreciated the fact that it was secure, we all felt safe and appreciated that there was secure parking on site. Would recommend to friends and would certainly stay again.

There is nothing I didn't like about these apartments. I did have a smoker in the family and he would go downstairs, would be nice if there was a container for smokers downstairs somewhere out of the way. I know its a bad habit but there are people who still smoke.

The apartment was beautifully decorated with all required amenities. Bed was comfortable. Close proximity to Shelley beach which was one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. We loved Ballina so much we extended our stay in the Penthouse apartment. The views were spectacular from here. Would most definitely return to this location.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and clean. We had been sent instructions on how to access the apartment after hours so did not see any staff during our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable.

The shower took forever to warm up! Also the foxtel wasn't working.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the river. The room was spacious, clean, fitted with everything we needed. Close enough to town to enjoy the walk and far away from crowds. Gorgeous surrounding beaches, and nothing was too much for the staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Nothing! We thoroughly enjoyed our break and time at the Grandview.

excellent location with outstanding views. apartment was spacious clean with everything you could need for a short stay. staff were friendly and helpful. on-site undercover parking and lifts direct to apartment meant never being exposed to weather.

air conditioning wasn’t as effective as I would have liked but got by the old fashion way by opening windows.
