One small niggle, having to pay extra for a latte coffee at breakfast

Fabulous service, as always. Our second stay at Berida was like staying with old friends. The breakfast is the best value and quality anywhere, do pay in advance when you're checking in. We always love relaxing in Aspinals, which has a wonderful selection of international whiskies and great cocktails. Great pick and mix lolly bar you can charge to your room in the produce store.

Unfortunately, Berida has become so popular for Saturday lunch that the car park was full upon check-in. The golf club close by was an unfortunate but useful necessity. Booking.com did not mention the facilities that were closed for renovations. Check the hotel's website regarding the pool, spa, and sauna.

The intimate setting, coupled with a superb selection of whiskies, created the perfect backdrop for celebrating our dating anniversary. It was a memorable experience that we will cherish. Overall, the Berida Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a touch of luxury in a serene setting. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for its stunning décor, impeccable service, and the unique charm it brings to every guest's stay.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and every staff interaction was lovely. The room was small but had most of the necessities. The location was great (3 min drive to centre of Bowral and probably an easy 15 min walk). The onsite bar and restaurant were both exceptional. All in all it was a lovely stay and the food and staff were the highlight.

Some of the room seemed a little tired (ie. old tv that had no Netflix connection, no plugs beside both sides of the bed). Unfortunately the hotel water had run out in the morning before check out but this may be due to a lot of other people showering at that time? If you had a particularly rowdy group of people in the bar, our room would have been quite disturbed so I would suggest asking for a room away from the bar if you are a light sleeper!

Interesting decor, good Resturant, location was about a 7 min drive from the township but opposite the Bowral golf club. Interesting addition of a whisky and gin bar and lollie shop adds to the eclectic mix of rooms and furniture. The petite rooms are small but very comfortable for a weekend away.

The hotel’s restaurant is very popular but the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu with the addition of a 3 course set lunch menu. For residents staying a few days I would have preferred a light option ie salad. Pool was under renovation, gym would be good to have yoga mats for floor workouts

A beautiful haven set in a countryside setting. The staff are lovely, warm, friendly and attentive. Check In process is seamless, decor and styling is elegant with that old world charm. The atmosphere is very relaxing and makes for a very enjoyable stay. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The on site Restautant and bar was very convenient and the food was good. Highly Recommended. Special shout out to Alex, thank you for helping me with my dress. I stayed in the Classic King which was very comfortable and clean

The staff are incredible. Very attentive and caring. The Hotel itself is wonderful and the room we stayed in, like the rest of the building, was beautifully decorated and both clean & cosy. Highly recommend.

Our only disappointment, was the meal we had on our first night, at the restaurant. Although the staff, again, were attentive and beyond helpful (they even added a birthday candle to my husband's dessert, for his birthday that day), and the atmosphere was lovely, the main meals weren't as good. My Prawn Linguine was drowning in oil (to the point, that's all I could taste) and my husband's fish was flavourless. We were just disappointed, considering the special occasion, we were dining for. However, our shared entree and dessert, were quite nice.

the Hotel gardens and most features of the room were of a very high standard and the breakfast was beautiful - a real highlight. Also, in the morning my husband was not feeling well and the front desk allowed us to linger past our checkout time. We stayed on an hour after checkout and very much appreciated the kindness of management. We will definitely stay at Berida Hotel again.

Our room was an upgrade to save us from having to go upstairs and we did appreciate that very much. However heating in the room was a problem. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable but the night was very cold and the heating system did not seem to be adequate for the room. The unit was not well situated to circulate the air or just not adequate for the size of the room.

I loved the styling and comfort of the room, as well as the grand charm of the hotel. Bowral's main street is less than 5 minutes away. The breakfast was amazing!

The air conditioner was struggling to cool the room. It would have been nice if the staff had started the air conditioner, as it was a very hot day. The fridge door was not closed properly; I only found out when I wanted to make a quick coffee before breakfast. The milk in the fridge was opened, and I couldn't put some in my coffee. It's a small thing so it wasn't a big worry.

The staff at Berida are wonderful. They are courteous and helpful, without being stuffy. The renovated heritage property has interesting little rooms and corridors. The whisky bar and the games room are well-thought areas to unwind in. The restaurant is great quality and the breakfast is fantastic value (so long as you sign up to be a Berida member for free). The location is perfect - right near the heart of the main road in Bowral.

Only very minor points: Room 5 is upstairs with windows facing the front of the hotel which can be a little bit noisy when you have post-wedding guests staying up till late in the outside garden area downstairs (so not suitable if you're very light sleepers - we were ok with it). The bathroom is renovated and nice but on the small side and the bathroom door (which is a bit flimsy) doesn't offer much privacy. Shower drainage is a bit slow so a shower at full blast sees the water start building up.
