I didn't have breakfast there - but enjoyed a little time in the bar one night. It is a spacious, light filled friendly-gracious place, and my room overlooked a lovely courtyard full of lots of happy people and a very beautiful old gracious Tree. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and generous, beautiful linen; I felt like a princess. I liked the bathroom facilities very much. Brass fittings, light and airy, high ceilings everywhere. One gets that expansive, lofty and free born feeling. Thank you very much for your friendliness and the purity of rest, quiet, kindness, and hospitality, I found there.

I liked it thoroughly. :) I would definitely wish to stay there again. I will recommend the Hotel to friends.

Room was great, bed comfortable. Bathrooms were clean neat and modern.

Lol, did not realise they are shared bathrooms. Must take more care in reading description of accommodation. That said, given the quality of the room and bathrooms if the bathrooms were in the room, then I would have given 5 stars. Oh, it was a tad noisy being near the road, but you soon got used to that.

We booked here last minute to stay with our baby to look at some real estate in the highlands. We could not find much accommodation as we booked last minute, however this was available. We booked the deluxe room with a bathroom. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised with how spacious, clean and lovely the room was. We had dinner downstairs which was also delicious. We had a fabulous stay and all the staff were fantastic.

the room was lovely, though was surprised about the lack of bathroom. I thought I'd booked one with one. The bathrooms were very spacious and clean.

no en suite no mirror in the room to use, would have been very helpful as I came to the area for a wedding so was glamming up would have preferred a small bottle of real milk rather than long life milk.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was extremely spacious, reasonably clean and had a comfortable bed. Dinner was good in the restaurant beneath.

It was very loud, could hear music/patrons from the restaurant until late, traffic from the main road, and people in the hallway. The shower didn’t drain properly and flowed onto the whole bathroom floor.

The hotel is centrally located and the room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully styled- great care and attention to detail has clearly been taken with the recent renovations. The pub downstairs was both delicious and convenient.

As other reviews have already stated, the hotel is a little noisy as it's located on a main road.

Great place to stay, very affordable, clean and comfortable. The newly renovated rooms are excellent and very spacious. You could even bring your own cot for a baby easily. The room doesn't have it's own private bathroom, but the shared bathrooms were very clean and accessible.

Great location room was very clean, and big and good location close to everything. Definitely would stay again. Bistro has great choice food is amazing.

The only negative was You can hear other people in there rooms.

Rooms were new and well fitted out and styled, lovely comfortable stay.

A bit of noise from the pub below but nothing more than you would expect on a saturday nigth! Other nigths was quite.

The rooms were nicely renovated and it was so convenient that it was part of the pub.

There was little to no soundproofing so you could hear everyone walking past your room.
