The location is absolutely serene with all the rooms having a view of the lake , fountain and the pagoda. The rooms have been designed such a manner the beds are elevated so that the guests can enjoy the view from the comforts of their bed. We booked the room just a day in advance and still got a good deal given that it was during the Christmas holiday season. We got exactly what we wanted i.e. to stay a couple of days away from the hustle bustle and enjoy a lazy break doing nothing other than enjoying the nature. The breakfast in the conservatory was also very satisfying.

Specifically in our room, one side of the mattress had caved it which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep.

The room was very pleasant and the bathroom shower was one of the best we have ever experienced in a motel! It was also only a short walk to the pub and bistro.

Despite having requested a continental breakfast tray to be made available for our room, this had been overlooked and it was too late to arrange another as they are only compiled by housekeeping staff each morning. We ended up having breakfast at McDonalds in Moss Vale! Also, there is no sound insulation on the room's front door. Consequently, we heard cars and people coming and going well into the night, including a baby who kept crying every half hour or so in the wee hours of the morning, being walked around outside to calm it. We felt sorry for the mother but she had no idea they were keeping us awake at the same time.

View from the room - out over the lake with a fountain. Although the weather was chilly, the room was very warm and lots of blankets provided. Breakfast in the Conservatory was excellent. Onsite wedding but we were placed well away and was not disturbed at all.

It's probably time for a bathroom revamp - I'm not a fan of showering in a bath - although the handrail cetainly helps. Unfortunately the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests - a slip up but not ideal.

The place was lovely the rooms were great with a great location next to the lake.

Breakfast was a bit of a shambles in that the coffee machine was broken and there was no food for quite a long time when we arrived for breakfast. The staff tried their best but it was a touch shambolic. That said, the staff were delightful and the food when it came was great although they had run out of a few things

The room was spacious with a separate lounge area. This contained a sofa bed which would obviously be used for triples/families. This was down a few steps and led out to the very pretty grounds with lake, fountain etc. It was well located between Bowral and Moss Vale. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bed was a bit too close to the wall on one side. The bathroom and general decor were a little tired and dated.

We had a small group with 4 vintage Rolls-Royces, The rooms selected were altogether and our cars were safely out of sight from the main road and in front of our rooms. The views from our rooms were wonderful, very relaxing. Our rooms were well presented and comfortable.

It took a little time to work out which was the best way to heat the room, I was most appreciative of the column oil heater which worked when the air-conditioning didn't with the low outside temperatures

We have stayed here regularly. The location is perfect and the layout of the room very good.

The bathroom had been damaged (broken tiles and broken basin) and the repair was very poorly done when you consider the price of the room. We have found the maintenance of the rooms to be poor in the past. The refrigerator is too small for couples who self-cater when travelling as the freezer is minimal. We had travelled for 10 days. This was the smallest refrigerator on the trip in the most expensive motel.

We like almost everything . Rooms were comfortable .did not like the bathroom fan always on with the lights .

The ironing board was terrible . Broken and no padding on board . Awful . Gardens need a bit of work especially out near car parks .

Location is great, being halfway between Bowral and Moss Vale. Quite location, but Inn next door was a bonus. Motel/Hotel grounds were beautiful, with small lake with many ducks and other birds making a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to unwind.

Bathroom is functional, but dated. Heating was difficult to adjust and AC seemed only heat. Wasn't a serious issue, as we just opened the door to the beautiful view.

I received a warm and cheerful welcome to this beautiful country side property. The well equipped room was large and separated into a bedroom and lounge area that flowed outside onto a outdoor setting that overlooked a scenic lake. The central heating was a welcomed addition on not such a great spring day. The comfortable bed combined with a great shower/bath rounded off the whole experience. Just when you thought things couldn't get better you discover the adjacent historic Briars Inn with its modern bistro that provided a number excellent dinning choices inside and out. My favorite was the cozy little lounge areas with open fires that surrounded the main bar.

There wasn't anything to dislike.
