The owners went out of their way to help us all by getting our three rooms cleaned so we could book in a number of hours early, as we all needed to get ready for a family wedding. Our rooms were super clean, beds really comfortable, fantastic shower/water pressure, and the softest, biggest towels I've ever used ! We were made to feel welcomed & after we left were called by the owner to let me know that we had left some belongings behind. So these lovely owners are obviously also very honest. Without a doubt, I would stay again at the Southern Comfort Motel, and also highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in beautiful Cootamundra. Lizzie 😊

I loved the look of the room when I walked in. Very clean with quality furniture. No scratches, chips in paint etc. Bathroom was clean as were coffee cups etc. Shower was excellent. Loved that blanket was already made into the bed (not just in the wardrobe), electric blanket was very much appreciated. We phoned ahead as we were arriving later than anticipated and owner put the aircon on to heat the room up for us.

We collected crockery and cutlery from the office. Aircon was a little noisy. Everything else was great.

Friendly and helpful check in, Clean and comfortable room including a lounge, table and chairs, lots of toiletries, lovely hot shower, fresh clean towels and sheets, good lighting, lots of storage space, aircon quiet and efficient. Fresh milk provided and complimentary bottles of water. Parking easy and spacious, bucket of water with windscreen washing brush provided near exit.

Nothing negative only that we couldn't stay longer!

I was really impressed with the warm and friendly welcome by the owners Malcolm & Pim. I spent a comfortable night in a spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean room. All ground floor accommodation with ample parking right outside the door.

Motel manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When our car was immobilized due to battery that needed replacement, and NRMA could not provide a replacement, the motel manager arranged for a friend to supply and fit a new battery.

We received a genuinely warm welcome from Jill and Geoff. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and there were ample supplies of coffee (plunger) and tea. They even had a bucket of clean soapy water and a windscreen blade for guests to remove bugs from their vehicle’s windscreen. 😀 It is obvious that Jill and Geoff take immense pride in what they do.

Spacious and immaculately clean rooms.

Although the female manager was very friendly and happy her male counterpart was not as warm and seemed a bit grumpy. Maybe it was the rain or maybe he was dealing with some motel issue.

We had a pleasant stay. Bed was comfortable . Room was nice and warm. Will stay again next time we are passing through

Just being fussy, but I love my king size pillow and forgot to bring it. King size pillows are just fabulous.

There was a small water leak near the toilet, but no real problem. Owner was appreciative of it being brought to their attention and promised to immediately follow up

Clean no frills motel, easily accessible from road with quiet rooms well off the road. Sufficient offroad parking. Provides fresh milk, always a plus.

One minor thing, no crockery or cutlery provided, to go with the microwave.
