Quiet, economical and comfortable. Fabulous towel art on the bed really gave me a happy surprise.

A guest next door sat outside and smoked at 2.30am and I woke up to the smell of their smoke. As an asthmatic, not ideal.

Breakfast was not provided, but cutlery, crockery,a kettle and milk were, as is now the practice here. Iwas able to organise my own breakfast, which I prefer

Booked with short notice on Xmas Eve after a "quick meeting" in Melbourne turned into a 2 day celebration. was still presented with an immaculate room with working wifi and a set of toiletries. Staff communicated well, good location. Great for a quick convenient stopover or maybe as a base for activities in the area.

Easy to find. The aircon is working fine. Parking in front of my room. Coffee shop (2 mins walk) nearby is really good. Although the room looks old but it was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable. Even the towel smells good. The room size is excellent. We arrived late, and they sent us room information, so check-in was very easy. Would come again when travelling to Melbourne in the future.

Large room, too big for whats in it.Comfy bed, crockery and cutlery... look in wardrobe for them. Bathroom great.

Room very large could fit another double bed in the space. TV too small for large room. Small dining table ( could have been larger for the space) and wobbly wooden chairs.

Location, clean

The motel advertised free Wi-Fi but at check-in I wasn’t offered any details. It wasn’t discussed with me and of course I forgot to ask. Normally a check-in you get told what the Wi-Fi password is which serves as a reminder that you have access.

Clean. Good bench space. Good location for local hotels and walking the historic main street. Quiet at night. Split system warmed the room well. Blinds as well as blackout curtains kept the room dark for sleeping. Crockery and cutlery supplied for making breakfast. Parking outside the door. Manager seemed nice.

Internet slow but used my own data for streaming so not a problem. Would be good to have Netflix.No microwave but that wasn't a problem for us this time. Could do with some drawers for clothes, but ok for a 1 night stay.

Great location. Walk into Gundagai cbd. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would like someone from the motel/hotel industry to explain why they put towels and soaps on the bed. Don’t most people use towels and soap in the bathroom? It is a puzzle I have thought about for ages. Maybe it is just tradition - who knows?

The place was clean and comfortable and quiet. Very happy to recommend. Would certainly stay again.

The lack of a microwave and the fact that the cancellation fee was the same as the booking fee. Also the was no hot water for the shower. Not good when the temperature was -3*

Great location, walking distNce to shops, restaurants, playground and sports field. Clean, warm, extra blankets available. Great for a family of 6. One of the TVs was not working but staff memmber attended quickly(wasn’t able to fix but not a big deal)
