It is set in a beautiful garden. The interior is even more stunning. The polite and interesting owner has excellent taste, and accordingly the rooms are superbly decorated. Nothing is missing for the guest’s comfort. The plentiful breakfast in an exquisit dining room with pleasing background music remains unforgettable. Grenfell Hall is simply the best.

What a surprise, don't normally stay in B&B, but this place has been beautifully restored. For art lovers, every room as some interesting art and antiquities. It was clean and with modern conveniences, spacious bathroom with everything you find in a 5 star hotel. The location is off the main road and a 7 min walk to the shops. Warwick was an excellent host. Nice touch with the cookie, tea and coffee in the sitting room.

Could not pick any faults

Warwick’s attention to detail at Grenfell Hall cannot be understated. Everything within has a story as does Grenfell Hall itself. His Breakfast presentation (Assorted Buffet Cereals with a choice of Plum and Yogurt, Toasts and Jams) along with Tea and Coffee is first class. Your room and private toilet/bathroom presentation will blow you away. I travelled to Grenfell to trace my mothers birthplace (Grenfell).

This was a very different style of accommodation. We stayed in the Chapel room which had private facilities and was very spacious. Warwick, the host, was very welcoming to his beautiful home, which is worth just wondering around for a glimpse at life in bygone times. We were welcomed to use the lounge area and then were served a lovely breakfast in the dining room. A very pleasant stay.

Beautiful old heritage house with fascinating period decor and so many works of art and antique pieces to feast your eyes on. We had our own sitting room with TV, fridge and tea and coffee making facilitilies. The continental breakfast was perfect and delicious and as much as you want. Lots of hot water to have a relaxing shower after a long day and lovely fluffy towels.

I am only 5 feet tall and struggled to get into bed so a little step would have been handy but it was very comfortable once I was in and lovely smooth,quality sheets! The wooden toilet seat was split in our bathroom and could do with replacing.

We had three nights at Grenfell Hall in mid-January. This historic home has been lovingly restored and furnished by Warwick with his amazing (and occasionally quirky) collection of period furnishings, art and antiques. We stayed in the former chapel which was quiet and restful with a very comfortable bed. Linen and towels were of high quality. A variety of teas & coffee were provided and a very welcome plate of yummy biscuits. The lovely breakfast was served in the dining room and included Warwick’s rhubarb & apple compote which was delicious. Warwick is a friendly and approachable host, with great knowledge of the town and local area. Give yourself a treat and stay in his delightful home. Highly recommended.

We could see from the description on your website that this would be a very special place to stay. It lived up to those expectations. Everything was perfect.

Fantastic house which as been lovingly restored. Great facilities with a really large room and bathroom. Very good location easy walking distance to town.

The room was quite cold although it did have a reverse cycle air-conditioning unit which easily solved the problem.

Warwick is the most delightful host and couldn't be more helpful. I was travelling with elderly parents and Warwick was so welcoming, considerate and engaging with them. The accommodation is so comfortable and beautifully restored. Best accommodation by far in the area.
