We loved the venue and the staff were fantastic. A huge thank you to the manager who picked up the catering for my hubbie's birthday on Monday and helping me with the washing machine :)

I do need to point out that the room was a bit "dusty", particular the cushions on the couch and the windowsills - as there is only air conditioning, not a ceiling fan, we noticed this during the night (we could not leave the windows open due to street noise from the pub across the road and early morning traffic), so upon waking would feel a bit "sniffly" from dust. I do think also that for a venue that is closeby to a popular pub, you might need to consider some sound proofing in rooms that are facing the venue. Other than that, we loved the hotel and Mudgee and hope to be back again soon.

The historical building is lovely and a pleasant walk to the main street. The compact suite was well set up apart from a glitch with some missing cutlery and low stocks of tea bags. The toiletries were lovely, but the shower over the bath could be a problem for some. The breakfast supplies were very convenient and welcome. The lift to the first floor was excellent and most welcome.

The noise from patrons leaving the Paragon Hotel across the road was a bit intrusive each night but the noise from voices, motor bikes and cars did stop by 11.30pm, after which it was very quiet.

This is a beautiful example of a rejuvenated older building into a comfortable small hotel, with the spirits of the past lingering. The room was well appointed, the kimonos beautiful. Breakfast provisions were excellent, and the mini kitchen made us wish we were staying longer than only one night. We had our predinner drink and morning coffee on the large covered verandah but seemed to be the older patrons doing that. The bubbly receptionist was a delight on check-in.

I would strongly suggest a non-slip mat in the bath and either a night light or dimmer light in the bathroom. The bright light was blinding if one used the toilet during the night. Using the toilet at night and risking a slip in the bath are sadly occurrences that beset the older traveller!

Really nicely appointed hotel room. Nice little touches like some complimentary snacks on arrival in the room and some Kimono's to wear around the room. Beds were nice and comfortable and linen in bathrooms clean and soft. Nice coffee machine in the room as well for a morning fix. We stayed during some very cold winter mornings but rooms AC kept the temperature nice. Easy walk to the main street, pubs and Cafe's. Would defiantly recommend the Perry St Hotel and will definitely stay again when in Mudgee

Easy walking distance to shops, cafes. Room was well appointed, comfortably furnished. We didn't cook while we were there but there was a complete kitchen in the room. Quiet - we were at the back of the building. Carpark next to the building. Reception closes at 5 pm but we could let ourselves in easily. Nice wide verandah upstairs to sit in the breeze.

We were given a room set up for a disabled person - the toilet was high and the seat uncomfortable. The shower was not enclosed so most of the bathroom floor got wet. As is almost standard, there was very little room for a toilet bag or indeed anything much in the bathroom. Our room had a high-ish window which we could open, but couldn't really see out of so the room had the sense of no outside light and being enclosed. The location is handy but the outlook is not interesting.

Pleasant surroundings and a very good location. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The bed was big.

These are maintenance suggestions. Bathroom grouting around bottom of wall tiles needs to be scrubbed. Grouting and silicon sealant around bath rim need attention. Pigeons are in the roof of the front verandah where it joins the building directly above the scary owl. The verandah roof leaks in a couple of locations.

Everything was amazing. The room was clean and the perfect size. The kitchenette was very well equipped. The bed was very comfy - I can't stand hotel beds that are so soft you sink into them (it hurts my back) so it was refreshing to have a bed that was actually supportive without being overly firm. The location was perfect! So close to the cafes/bars/shopping area.

If I *had* to say something negative, it would be that the shower pressure could be improved. I was lucky I didn't have to wash my hair or I would have been there for hours! But that's a very small 'complaint'.

Lovely building from the 1800s, nicely renovated. Good location to most things. Onsite parking.

Breakfast was very disappointing. When we booked it did not say "continental" b/fast, therefore we assume it was a standard Aussie type b/fast. Only after booking did we get confirmation from the hotel that b/fast was continental, not good enough ! Must make sure that if "continental" b/fast, it is clearly noted at time of booking!! When the b/fast was delivered, was in a paper bag and not very appealing. .

The room was a lovely design, had a cute little kitchenette area, the bathroom was modern and the whole room was very clean. They had some really nice touches like some complimentary snacks, kimonos in the room and the products in the bathroom were really high quality. The hotel is gorgeous and close to everything you could want in town and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. We loved our stay and we will be back.

Can't think of anything.
