Although we booked a regular room, we got a family room, so we had more than enough space. Everything was nice and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had everything you need after a hot day on the road: a comfy bed, a powerful hot shower, a silently working AC and even a small kitchenette with microwave, fridge and kettle. We also appreciated the guest laundry. We found a good place for our bicycle out of view from the street and out of the rain and we would have even be allowed to take it into the room. We did not use the pool, but it did look very clean..

Fridge was a bit loud and it felt like it was running all the time.

It was the perfect location as I was performing at the entertainment centre that week. The room was a great size with the perfect facilities for a long stay. I would 100% stay again.

The only issue I had was the bin got too full but I didn't put the sign out for room service so that was my own fault :) It was also slightly tricky to get to the location when travelling back from the city centre as I had to go in the opposite direction and turn up Illaroo road and then turn back to get to the street but it was due to the current roadworks - it was also only an added 3 minutes so really not an issue.

Perfect place to stop-over and rest if you are on a road-trip or even if you planning to explore Nowra. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, neat and spacious bathroom, fantastic shower and modern facilities. The lady at the desk was very friendly and showed us the room and the pool- we loved the pool- clean and warm- after a long day of drive we rejuvenated in the lovely pool- which is a bonus feature of this place.

Nothing at all, keep up the good work team- we'll visit again!

Pleasant Way River Lodge has been thoughtfully and creatively renovated. It takes advantage of the traditional motel design to give the parking area more of a social feel, with a cafe nook on one side, a barbecue area and garden seating out the front. It seems like people living nearby drop in for coffee, giving the place a less transient feel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and appealing. Plates, glasses and cutlery are provided if you want to bring your own food. Enjoy a lovely riverside walk nearby.

The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. The motel was in a quiet street and close to the highway but only minimal noise could be heard. The staff were very accommodating and the onsite cafe was absolutely tremendous with delicious meals available. The motel was close to Nowra with a lovely outlook to be able to walk along the Shoalhaven River bank. Highly recommended.

The room was a little outdated, however it was very clean and comfortable.

The location of the lodge is great. It's near the town centre, shopping centre and Shoalhaven river. It is near the zoo and the Treetops adventure, which is near the river. The cafe was even open on Christmas day, when nearly all the other shops and restaurants were closed. The room has a quiet reverse air conditioner. The wall seemed to be painted recently and the room had a floating board floor.

The window of the bathroom didn't have a fly screen, so it wasn't a good idea to open the window during the summer. The microwave didn't have a very good condition and had a smell.

Everything went well. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful - which I didn't expect given how close it is to the highway. Easy to find. The coffee shop located on the premises is excellent. We very much enjoyed their excellent coffee. The bacon and egg rolls we had were delicious, but next time we will only get one between us as they are very filling.

This was an issue for us - given my cousin uses a walker - but probably won't affect many people. We found the step from the pavement up to the footpath just manageable. Perhaps a ramp might be considered in any future renovations. This property does not have disabled facilities.

The motel was lovely and quiet. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The cafe on site was a real treat. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable and the bathroom had lovely thick fluffy towels which is always nice. A plus was the sink and detergent etc which most motel rooms don’t have so we were more than happy to wash up cups, cutlery etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean and welcoming. Decent rooms and well kept - modern. Lovely location next to river. Cafe attached to accommodation is accommodating - coffee and hot choc is spot on! Brekkie was great!

**Nothing to really do with accommodation itself. With roadworks - it's not easily accessible. Thank goodness for GoogleMaps. Unfortunately, also with roadworks and construction being close was loud. Have to go back into town for food choices and amenities but beautiful location near river.

Really liked that there was a coffee shop on-site selling tasty take away and eat in food. Provided a casual hub for chats and information exchange. Better than the ‘stuffy’ restaurants on site. Good strong hot shower. Liked the decorative features such as timber panels, and the push bikes on walls!

Shower had a curtain and had to work out how to make sure curtain didn’t blow in and cling to you while showering! Finally, found only way was to leave curtain open a bit to allow air flow. It was nothing to do with open window, fan, door etc. Maybe add weights to bottom of curtain? The room could have been cleaned better, as there was dust and some dirt on floor. Windows on outside need a good clean, but realise it has rained a lot!
