Everything. Location, Views, Service. We arrived early to enjoy drinks at the SkyBar before checking in to out cottage. Lovely service, Great wines as well as cocktails beer etc. This winey is incredibly pretty especially with the cherry trees in bloom.

The only one qualm i have is the mattresses were quite uncomfortable. All adults mentioned the following morning that they didn’t sleep well due to this. Pillows, linen, duvet were all so cosy and comfy, loved the addition of the electric blanket on the beds, however the mattress itself was very hard/uncomfortable and didn’t make for the most restful nights sleep. In saying this, all the positives far outweigh that one little negative and I would absolutely stay here again.

The place, I mean cellar door, Sisters Rock restaurant and the chalet are all nice and with excellent view for the surrounding countryside. Everything is a little bit pricey, but on the other hand carefully designed and serviced. It is affordable luxury. Would like to visit again, but then for 2 nights. The kitchen was better than in the description, it is true that there was neither hot plates nor oven. But there was a outdoor barbeque and a "funny" electrical cooker with a lid. The coffee machine was a miniature version of the traditional coffeeshop espresso-machines - I made really nice cappucino with it. The style of the Sisters Rock restaurant was fine-dining and we enjoyed excellent meal. I can recommend, if you like fine dining style

We arrived 1,5 hour before the official check-in time 15:00. Due the ongoing cleaning we could not get the chalet until 14:40. The chalet has nice location and excellent facilities. We stayed only one night, it was winter time, so early sunset after 17:30. We enjoyed a late lunch starting 15:00 at the Sisters Rock restaurant. The result was nearly no time to enjoy the place and facilities within the daylight between end of lunch and sunset. My advice, take this in account and consider staying 2 nights

Perfect weekend at a very very lovely cottage amongst the vines. The cottage was beautiful, clean warm with a gorgeous fireplace...just loved it! We received a very warm welcome, & guide to the collage which set the lovely mood for our stay. Definately will visit this lovely accommodation again!

Only suggetion I would have is to have a solar light or similar near the name sign of the cottage so when arriving home in winter at night you can see better where you are going. We stayed in the dead of winter, so at night it was very dark.

The service and staff was wonderful. The cottage was perfectly private, light, airy and cosy.

For the price, the included breakfast of muesli, fruit and yoghurt was meagre and could have included at least, some bread and butter for toast. They need to say what is on offer, so that you can choose to bring supplies to make a more substantial breakfast in their well appointed kitchen.

Amazing stay at Borrodell. This was our third stay over the past 8 years. Our last stay 3 years ago was a little disappointing for us with the property looking a little tired and unorganised. However the difference between then and now is chalk and cheese! The cabins (we had our group staying at both) were just amazing. The decor has been updated, the service from management much more organised, the cabins exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. The little touches and changes made all the difference. We will definitely be back!

Maybe a bit more communication with the hosts when we asked a few questions via text. We reached out a few times via text and would have been nice to have just got an instant response to say they received the notice and would get back to us. It took a missed call several hours later from them for us to know our message asking for some more fire wood was received. Nothing major but just good to get that notification right away so we knew where we were staying with our request.

Very generous complimentary breakfast. Ambience peaceful and serene with restful views across grasslands with numerous kangaroos. Rooms sunlit with large windows to the outdoors. Comfy, cozy bed.

The kitchen bench needs a pull-down blind to screen from the rising sun in the morning. Whilst the TV & DVD player were adequately functional an upgrade to a smart TV would be an improvement. Of the many DVDs supplied, the one we trialed was damaged or dirty and stopped early in the screening.

The breakfast was good and value for money. Enjoyed the fresh fruit and bottle of wine. Enjoyed the lunch at rock sisters and the relaxed atmosphere with the beautiful outlook ove the valley

the coffee was a bit ordinary. The main bathroom was in need of a clean (toilet, and cobwebs on the window. The doors to the onsuite were difficult to open and close

The location was perfect, surrounded by nature in a vineyard. There were breakfast foods (muffins, cereals, milk, juice, fresh fruit) supplied in the cottage as well as plenty of tea and coffee and a bottle of wine. The cottage was beautifully styled, comfortable, and private. There is the Sky Bar on the property which is worth a visit. I reccommend The Last Laugh Cider, it was delicious.

I loved everything but a set of table and chairs out on the grass would of been lovely.

The place is spectacular, really loved the location, facilities, people. Can't wait to go back.

The booking.com insert for this property said it had an extra large double bed, which I had believed was australian king sized. In fact it was a queen size, which I thought was normally described as a large double bed. Just a tad soft and small for us, being used to a slightly firmer king bed at home. Still, the place was fabulous for a short stay.

It's all about location - fabulous views, kangaroos feeding in the morning and very peaceful. The cottage was lovely and well equipped. A good continental breakfast was included, and a bonus bottle of the winery's wine. An easy drive into Orange for shopping, restaurants etc. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + extra shower & toilet, so a great option for a family or 2 couples.

A few upgrades would help - no dishwasher or dish drainer and the shower tiles need a good grout clean.
