The Ophir was a one night stop over on a longer trip for us. The rooms were well prepped, spacious, lots of powerpoints etc for various devices that need charging. Car parks close by and a covered area, so quick dry transfers of luggage can be managed (appreciated as it was raining for us). Plant growth along the fence keeps things private in the morning. Convenient to nearby facilities for food, but we are at the hotel and had a very enjoyable meal. Had plates and cutlery etc for breakfasts if you needed (we didn't, but nice to know they were there). Long bench space to eat at if you did need that though. The usual hotel kettle, toaster etc were there too. Cupboard with ironing equipment, too. Situated around the back side of the hotel, so not directly exposed to through traffic noise at night. Staff we interacted with were all very helpful and friendly.

Nothing - was exactly what we needed on our trip. If I was camping here for a week with family it would be a little cosy and could use a table inside, but for a night or two as a stopover they were excellent.

The revamped pub was beautiful and the food was incredible! Such a great variety of Gluten Free options too, which was great for the two coeliacs in the family. Room was clean and tidy, offered all that we needed for one night.

The tiles in the shower had been painted, and all of the paint was peeling off. Not a massive issue, just made the space look a little run down. However, it was exceptionally clean.

Hotel was fantastic, the new owners have done a wonderful job in upgrading the hotel and the motels.

It would be good if the door on the motel could have draft foam around the main door. It was 1 degree and the wind howls through the front door each side and the gap at the bottom. Would be good for a tea towel to dry dishes rather than a box tissues. The only thing missing from the kitchen would be a microwave for left overs from hotel food.

The Ophir is in a convenient location, quiet and clean. We were a group of 3 so perfect with 3 beds. All required facilities are provided. A good stay.

As there are only a handful of rooms and the main business is the restaurant and club, getting to the reception was not clearly signed but only a small detail. Everything else was easy and convenient. TV a little small.

Had a meal from the bistro - lovely as always and although very busy - quick as

OMG - If only the police would do something about the cars screaming past all night - very very unsafe and constant. Also the little visitors outside the gates smoking and swearing - all of which is out of the Ophir's control but a little off putting - car didnt really feel safe as we had a ute and stuff stored on the back.

Everything was very clean, the room has everything we needed and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Despite being adjacent to a busy pub the room was very private and quiet. There is a security gate separating out the accommodation from the street/pub, which also backs onto the carpark which has free parking.

Location was okay and security to the unit was excellent. There was a gate that we had to use our room key to enter the unit area which made us very comfortable and felt very safe.

No shelf in the Shower for Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash containers. There was washing up detergent supplied but no Tea Towel provided to wipe dry the Cups and Spoons.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable accommodation. Kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, comfortable beds. Walking distance to the bistro in the hotel. Close to other facilities required. Great staff, and reasonably good food choices.

The crack in the wash basin, the unprofessional repair on the shower floor.

beds were super-comfy. location is Centre of CBD. very clean. Staff were excellent. most importantly internet speed was good. excellent play area for kids. enough parking.

you should really think of adding a microwave oven in each room. This was one of the important item missing.

The bathroom could do with an update the paint was peeling of the tiles but everything worked well and it was a great size
