Remember this is a very affordable family room! You may hear the clowns racing their loud cars up the street and if they use a mic at the pub, but it's clean, it's spacious and you will fit in this room with your spouse and your three kids quite comfortably. The door locks. The shower works wonderfully, towels are clean, fridge and tv work. Did I mention this room is very well priced for 5?

The bathroom sink... the big powerpoint between the sink and towel rail.. kids... it made me nervous. It would be nice if the rooms had marked allocated parking as due to the corner we had someone parked in on angle over multiple spots

Parkes is a very pretty NSW country town surrounded by endless kilometres of farming and grazing properties. It is striking distance to other rural beauties like Cowra, Orange and Eugowra famous for wineries, murals and of course 'The Dish'. This area of NSW is rich in historical significance for such things as bushrangers, Banjo Patterson, WWII, the birth of Federation and astronomy. The Coachman's excellent location in the middle of Parkes township let's you enjoy walking distance to main street shops, cafes and banks. It is easily locatable as it right behind the NAB and the Henry Parkes statue. Very clean and tidy room with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave and aircon. As this is a working pub, the front bar was lively and a good spot for a cold one after the day. We ate dinner in the restaurant and all our meals were very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No faults at all for an affordable stay.

Giving this accomodation 10/10, The location is convenient close walking distance to all shops, coffee shops restaurants and supermarkets. We were able to explore the shops and did some shopping around. The coffee shops had very nice coffee and breakfast was delicious. There is a playground for kids so they were well entertained. The accommodation was very clean comfy beds, we booked a family room which had 5 beds, we even had an extra bed which is unusual. The bar is nice with very good customer service we relaxed and enjoyed a drink. We will definately come back highly recommend coachman hotel🙂

Nothing I can fault about this accommodation.

The hotel/motel is located in a great location, all the shops and amenities are within a very short walking distance. We ended up staying 2 additional nights and the staff accommodated our request to stay in the same room so we didn't have to move to another room.

We stayed for over a week, we felt a little bit cramped but not a big issue as the location was ideal for us.

Great meal at adjacent hotel - lucky for us it was steak night. Very clean bed with crispy sheets and loads of pillows. Hot spacious shower. In the middle of town and a very very close walk to the town swimming pool which we enjoyed.

Dated bathroom but you can't complain with the price. Bit of gap under the door so noise could come in. Yes the queen bed was against the wall even though enough room for it not to be but that didn't worry us.

Our stay was as fantastic as the last visit. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and getting settled in to our room for the night was a quick and easy process. The food options were great value for money and the meal we ordered was beyond expectations. This will be our go to location on future trips back from the coast to central western NSW. EVERY TIME :)

The beds were harder than we are used to which made our sleep a little restless.

Location and in house dining

I drove past it a couple of times but couldn't identify it as the Coachman. A more prominent sign would be an asset. I booked online but ended up phoning the Coachman as I wasn't sure whether or not the booking was confirmed. I kept getting texts from some booking service - confusing!

Location is spot on. Room was beautifully clean. Parking was very convenient. Right at the unit door. Bed was very comfy.

The only negative was the leak from shower base which leaked out onto the tiling by the toilet. Wet Sox and quite slippery if unaware.

The bistro had really good food. Location was perfect for someone who isn’t familiar with Parkes. The playground was perfect for travelling with kids.

Beds were uncomfortable (I got a sore neck at one point) and the shower in our room dropped after use and wouldn’t stop for at least 45 minutes.

We liked the fact that it was attached to a hotel with great facilities. This made our half way point stopover more restfull and comfortable. Good value for money .

The airconditioner was struggling a little with the humidity. The room was a tad too small but ok. Very clean and great facilities. We would stay again.
