Beautifully maintained property and the apartment was exceptional. So clean and fresh. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. The view of the beach was amazing. The Milkbar downstairs was a great place to grab a coffee or fresh juice. The blueberry muffins were delicious. The Bowling Club was nearby and the food was amazing. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The road noise and we were on the 6th floor! These issues certainly didn't ruin our stay.

We loved our two bed apartment. Perfect for a family. Super clean and spacious I couldn't fault it one but and the balcony looking out over the sea - divine! Loved the modern kitchen. Bathroom was also comfortable. Loved the pool and Jacuzzi options below and they had a sauna too. Theres a cafe and restaurant downstairs and it's a 5 min walk straight into the beach.

Only issue was the tv Wi-Fi didn't seem to connect but it's a tiny thing and I'm sure could have been rectified quickly. We were out all day so didn't really matter.

staff couldn't find my booking even after I show her my phone with the booking. com cfm number . ended up iit was her mistake. my name was on their computer. not a big stuffed up, a simple 'sorry' will do. however , what i go was the staff said ' your name is trying to hide from me, haha!'. this is not funny nor nice for a guest just drove 2 hours and had to go thru this ordeal and have a reply like this . Mantra is not a budget chain and this kind of service I believe is below par. will be good if the staffs are more professional

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view was lovely and the balcony was a a great bonus. Staff were lovely.

Apart from having the cafe (not associated with the hotel) just outside the front door for breakfast or lunch, the hotel has no restaurant. Considering its location away from the CBD it really needs some kind of dining facilities as it's really difficult to get food anywhere close by in the evening.

Location was awesome, balcony on the front was the highlight. Room was a good size with the balcony included. Spot was quiet and the restaurant and milk bar downstairs are awesome

Room is a bit dated, couldn't watch anything but free to air tv and dvd player wasn't connected - a new smart tv would enhance the property. The pillows were terrible! And the shower around the base and wall weren't super clean, showing discolouration like it needed a deep clean.

I liked the value for money. It was an older property however the facilities were clean, the bathroom was modern enough and the space was spacious. There was also free parking. It was also quiet where it was located.

The ONLY thing we didn’t like was that there was no AC in the bedroom. There was only one split-system AC unit that was in the lounge room and the cool air did not reach down the long hallway into the bedroom. Although there was a fan, the room still felt quite muggy on warm nights. We stayed in January.

The location was excellent with great proximity to the beach and town centre. The pool, spa and sauna were great and the apartment was spacious with plenty of room for the family. The view of the beach from the balcony was lovely.

The description stated that we would have views of the Hastings river, which we did not. Perhaps on a higher level we might have.

We stayed here the night before our wedding and also on our wedding night. We were given a free upgrade, a lovely card and there were chocolates left in the room for us. The room was clean and very spacious which helped when getting ready for the wedding! The artwork in the room was beautiful and a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the view is spectacular. Also the free secure parking was a nice bonus.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants etc. The swimming pool was a comfortable temperature with on even warmer bubble bath outside. Everything was within a comfortable walking distance from shops and restaurants and a very good beach only a hundred yards away

Maybe bath robes to go down to the pool?

Great location for the beach, a little out of town centre for young kids to go out during the night but we were able to prepare food in Kitchen was well equipped Clean and comfy

Water pressure wasn’t great No outdoor furniture on balcony Furniture was a little shabby but it was still okay More bedding needed on bed. Stairs going up to the apartment (although we were warned on booking, but hard with young kids) Indoor pool great but not warm enough in winter. Spa wasn’t working
