Excellent location, close to everything you need including Woolies Metro and the beach over the road. Bed was comfy, sofa bed not so much for an adult (the children seemed to be fine) Staff were helpful and friendly and each day we were asked if we required housekeeping or anything at all which was great. Shower was huge, nice hot water and fluffy towels. Also had a toaster, large fridge and microwave so good for self-catering if needed.

Pretty noisy at night/early morning, but to be expected really since you are staying above and across the road from two pubs and it was a Friday/Saturday night. Good spot as far as convenience goes for food/transport etc. but not great if staying with young children (obviously not well thought out on my behalf). I did expect that it wouldn't be as noisy as it was, but you are provided with complimentary ear plugs so guess that was a good clue of what was to come.

Fabulous location to central Bondi, walking distance to beach and surrounds. The room was comfortable and clean and suited our needs for a brief weekend stay. The room had a small fridge, kettle, hair dryer and tea/coffee. The hotel staff were helpful and courteous. We checked in late due to flight delays, which they accommodated.

Our room faced an internal atrium and had some street noise. However, the hotel does supply earplugs to assist light sleepers. Unfortunately, the bathroom we had the shower overflowed due to a small rail for the shower door. Be prepared to use a towel to keep the water in. Otherwise, the floor is slippery and can possibly leak onto the carpet. The hotel is unable to store baggage. However, there are other storage facilities for a fee close by if you need it.

The location was great, right by the beach and close to everything we needed. The free wifi worked well, the room was clean and modern, the beds and pillows comfy. The balcony was great and we enjoyed spending time out there relaxing. The free beach towel hire was much appreciated

Not a lot! Some staff were friendlier than others. On the Saturday night the bar downstairs got quite noisy but ear plugs were provided. The hotel reception was hard to find initially and the staff we asked in the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel were not helpful

The construction outside made it difficult to sleep and it would have been better to have a room closer to the other side of the hotel facing the courtyard/entrance of corridor area (which is what we thought we had booked since it said courtyard view). Maybe we got put in the wrong room? Not sure but it was certainly too loud. They equipped us with ear buds but it is uncomfortable when I use them so I avoid them.

This was my second stay there and it was even better than the first. You Cant bet the location, the rooms are fully airconditioned, a beautiful view of the entire each, and downstairs a great bar with terrific pun style meals, reasonably priced (unlike nearly everything else along the bondi beach strip). what more could you ask for! VK at reception is brilliant, so helpful and he and the rest of the staff really makes you feel at home, couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Not a thing

I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday at Hotel Bondi. The hotel is fantastically located for conveniently exploring nearby coastal areas and other parts of Sydney, as well as for enjoying a range of beach activities. All of the hotel staff were very friendly, attentive, helpful and kind throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, a hotel receptionist kindly recommended a brilliant walk from Bondi beach to Coogee which enabled me to see the beautiful beaches and pools along the way. Other hotel receptionists and hotel staff suggested excellent meal and travel recommendations which I appreciated. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, well-furnished and very clean. The room was also well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, iron, TV and hairdryer. Hotel meals and drinks were delicious and well-priced, and the hotel has a relaxing ambiance.

Location and ease. There are great restaurants and shopping all around to walk to. Lots to see and do. Clean, small, but adequate rooms. The aircon was great on a hot night. The bedding was nice, and we were very comfy. Above average for a pub. Cheap and cheery. We have recommended to friends and will be back.

I'm glad I packed my earplugs as I found it a little noisy as my normal life is very quiet in the country. However, my husband had no problems and so I have no complaints really.

Love the location, your building, the friendly, really helpful staff. Loved walking out, across the road and down to the beach for walks! Just what I was after. Your soundproofing of the hotel was very impressive. No internal noise at all.

The room.was,smaller than I thought but we did have the balcony to enjoy. Not your fault but the street noise was 'full on'. I did book a Saturday night on Bondi Beach after all. Thanks,for the earplugs. The police made more noise than the revellers.

Just cross the street to reach Bondi Beach, so convenient to walk along the coast or see the sunrise on a sunny day; next to the Bus stop, you can easily get there from the airport, the staff is friendly, and the bathroom is spacious. There are all restaurants and stores near the hotel and a grocery store that open till at least 11 PM.

The view from our room is the fire escape stairs, wish we could have a better view than that, but I believe it's just that one room on each floor.

Everything went well. Staff were friendly and helpful; facilities were very clean and comfortable. Loved the location and the ambiance of the place. The food was good and prices reasonable.

The room was noisy. Though the hotel supplied ear plugs, there was still a lot of noise from traffic and the hotel downstairs. If I stayed here again II would ask for a room on a higher floor. In particular there was a banging (like a door banging in the wind) throughout the night.
