Room basic but fine for the price. Communal kitchen and outside terrace nice enough with minor reservations , see below. Location good - choice of four buses -two to Bondi Jct., and two to the city -Museum and Central. Guest service good with both room cleaning and reception helpful.

My room's wardrobe was small so would've liked a couple of hooks in the wall for hanging hat , jacket , small bag. Also maybe one of those small tables to put a suitcase on rather than the floor. Though the communal kitchen had a good 6 burner stove top , the oven wasn't working and neither was the microwave. Told the owner / manager and he said he'd taken over only recently and he'd get onto it. Told me i could use the staff kitchen which was nice of him but no microwave there.

Location: We loved that we could easily walk to Coogee Beach to go out! There’s also a lot of great little restaurants right there by the hotel and a small convenience store. Downtown Sydney is also a short drive or Uber ride away. Price: You can’t beat the value. The room was clean, they’ve got a nice kitchen to cook in, there’s free parking, and for the area we were happy with the price. Lastly the staff was nice. My husband arrived before me and after-hours. He said it was really fast and easy to check in!

This isn’t a dislike, but more of a heads up to people doing their research. There is parking but maybe only 9-11 spots. You generally have to park early in the afternoon to get a spot in the garage, otherwise you may have to park in the street. Street parking may or may not be plentiful depending on the time.

excellent staff, walking distance to shops, (grocery store within the building) restaurants next door,and coogee beach (about 16 mins) I walked there a couple of times, but quite a hilly walk. It's a little bit of the beaten track, but it is still close(ish) to the airport, the University of New South Wales and Coogee Beach. there is a bus stop out front. And strangely a free public telephone outfront. The rooms are small but they have everything that a much more expensive hotel has. Seems like it has recently had a reno. Everything is quite new, I liked the bathroom. the hot water arrived almost instantly in the shower. I arrived after hours, so the key was left in a key box. The access codes were sent to my phone, and everything worked out as expected.

Traffic noise sometimes. Although this may depend on your room location. I like to leave the window open.

Great location - easy to get around with the bus stops near by if you’re planning on spending majority of your time in the east/near the beaches. Beautiful costal walk down the road - plenty of restaurants and amenities walking distance. Parking is a great bonus in the area and you don’t pay an extra fee.

Tv was a little temperamental but we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t a worry. The fridge froze our food - a little annoying but was fixed quickly. Towel rails in the bathroom weren’t stable which was a little frustrating - would be great to have hooks on the back of the door.

Such a great experience staying at the Little Coogee Hotel. Location was great, close to cafe's, beach, restaurants and public transport. We travelled by bus to and from the airport, to Bondi and surrounds. Everything we wanted to see and do was easily accessible by foot or bus. Hotel was great, everything we needed and was great value for money. Room was fresh and pretty, had all the basic we needed including storage space, aircon, bar fridge and ensuite. Facilities were in good working order, rooftop terrace area was a highlight for us, we spent a lot of time outside in the evenings eating dinner and enjoying good company. Service was also great, we arrived in Sydney very early and the hotel accommodated our needs and room was ready when we arrived (would have completely understood if it wasnt). Staff were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you're after a relaxed, no frills stay. We will definitely be back, we had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

No complaints! But if we had to nit-pick, pillows were a bit flat? Still had a great sleep. Would have been good for coffee and milk to be replenished each day, but were available on request anyway.

Newly refurbished, small room but with complete amenities including clothes hangers, ironing board, refrigerator, kettle, and hair dryer. Located near bus stops so it’s easy to commute to the city. Many nice cafes to choose from along the same street. Reception area is not exactly big enough to be called a lobby, but there’s a spacious common area and balcony plus a kitchen if you want to cook. Very nice staff. I was amazed for a small hotel that they have this 5-star touch of stamping a new roll of toilet paper upon check-in.

Had such a great stay at this hotel! Had a really clean, comfortable nicely decorated room which was more spacious than we expected and had a good ensuite, really good value for the price too. The room had a fridge and kettle for making tea and coffee which was good to have available. It was great to have a kitchen available in the building too so we could cook for ourselves and there was a nice inside dining area plus outdoor terrace. The location was great, really close to gordons bay which was a lovely swimming spot and also walkable to coogee and clovely beaches, you could easily get a bus up to Bondi beach and we did the coastal walk to Bondi one day too which was great. Its in a nice street with nice cafes including a great coffee shop over the road, loved this area and was a great place for a few relaxing days near the sea!

Saw a cockroach in our bathroom but this was the case for a lot of places we stayed in Australia and other than that everywhere seemed super clean

Great location - walking distance to beach. Cafes, bakery, restaurant and small independent supermarket within a few metres of accommodation . Plenty of room throughout, clean and tidy and had heating/cooling. Friendly staff and was very happy with the security. Ocean views from 3rd floor. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

On a main road through Clovelly meant traffic noise at peak hours. We were on the 3rd floor and there wasn't a lift - not really an issue as we pack light.

Staff are friendly and welcomed me with old- school hospitality. Nothing seemed to be a drama. Rooms are older but very clean and recently updated. The cosy decor is so cheerful and relaxing.. The hotel has a young laid back vibe. Check in 2pm and check out 11am for those who appreciate the extended hours

Reception is 9 or 10 -5pm. I didn't pay attention to the information in the booking confirmation. If I had, I wouldn't have had to bother the staff, to let me in at 7pm.. The man didn't mind one bit.

Very large spacious room. Had all the functions of being at home and well equipped. Great price for the location. Secure parking included. Planning a return stay in the future, and recommending to friends/family, so that is the best feedback I can provide.

Parking availability was adequate on the night we stayed, but more spots would be better. However, you couldn't do that without tearing down the building and rebuilding, so not really something that would be plausible to address.
