I congratulate you on the entire experience. Attention to details was fabulous. Examples: Your room is ready - as I arrived early. Very much appreciated. Bag was already in room - fantastic. Cab at the raising of a hand Ate breakfast and lunch at Jackalberrys - best pasta in a long time and my partner is Italian! Cleanliness really sold me. I have stayed in many five stars and yeah - sometimes disappointed at the level of cleanliness. Usually pretty average. So this was so nice to experience. Glasses in drawers sparkling clean. Location at Darling Harbour was great - we had a great view of the fireworks which happens several Saturdays a month and we were lucky to be there yesterday. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

I didnt like the check in - we arrived early and waited til 3pm ( the official check in time) but were made to queue again behind like 13 families. They did open more counters and the line moved fast but perhaps, they could set up a counter for those who had already checked in and just needed to be handed their access cards?

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney was nothing short of amazing! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city and close to Darling Harbour, making it so convenient to explore the best of Sydney. The service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was another highlight—an incredible selection of fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was a great way to kick off each morning! We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Sydney to anyone visiting the city. We can’t wait to stay here again!

The Hyatt Regency is on Darling Harbour, which is well located within walking distance of the ferries at both Barrangeroo and Circular Quay, as well as the Opera House, NSW State Library, and shopping district. The hotel staff fulfilled my request for a higher floor and harbour view. The room was refreshed daily, with perfection. After staying four nightmarish nights at the rundown Adina Apartments Darling Harbour, it was pure pleasure to stay another six nights at a real hotel and in a beautiful room.

The hotel fronts Sussux Street. There is a convenient back entrance for guests to access Darling Harbour. There are a lot of stairs. They were ok for me, but I can see that they might be a struggle for others. A lift at that point would be helpful.

Everything from location the room the bar options and most staff were just amazing.

Our overall experience was great. The only thing we did not like was one of the bar staff in the lobby bar was so rude. Considering this is a 5 star establishment one would expect all the staff would deliver 5 star service. She was exceptionally rude, not at all welcoming, for our drink wrong and then when we asked for the right drink she then slammed the right drink down with no apology. It was so bad and almost tarnished the rest of our experience.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Facilities were exvellent. Room was very clean. Enjoyed a number of meals. The Gin High Tea on Saturdays is worth doing. Location was great clise to everything.

There was nothing I could fault.

Great location in the Darling Harbour area and walking distance to varies areas in the city, Circular Quay, Barangaroo, QVB. Good Service plus facilities. Recommend the spa treatment and Sailmaker Seafood for dinner, the Day Spa team and Sailmaker team are fabulous.

Breakfast options, when I checked it, I said I would like the breakfast on one of the two morning that I was staying, the receptionists said I had to do two days to get the prepaid discount. My friend was able to do for one day, she checked in early I on check in day. When I went back the receptionist that I could do out though I had to do it at check in. So was not able to get the discount rate and paid the full rate which was pricey for a continental breakfast as I don't do full breakfast.

The location is terrific. Right next to Darling Harbour & many good restaurants. If you need to go to Circular Quay, the railway is also nearby. The breakfast spread was excellent catering for all diets including vegans like my partner. There was even champagne available. Room was very nice & quiet. View over Darling Harbour was worth the additional expense. Car Parking was available directly across the road & you could use the hotel to charge it to your room. I would advise booking yourself on-line for a cheaper rate though.

The rooftop bar was completely closed Friday night for a private function. Would have thought that it could have been open late for an hour or 2 for others to enjoy. Pillows in room were not the most comfy.

Location was perfect and staff were consistently excellent. Breakfast offerings at onsite restaurant was perfect and offered something for every taste. Directly across from. Darling harbour activities and harbour ferries, which makes location perfect for anyone not wanting to drive.

Room service was a little light on 'basics' suited to teens. Room service delivery fee of $8 a little hefty too given price of food not cheap. There's an option to collect food from the lobby, but that kinda defeats the purpose a bit. Hotel is happy for uber eats to be collected from lobby, so that worked out better for us. Would have loved a pool onsite to be the whole package.

Room was absolutely impeccably clean and perfectly balanced between comfort and appointments. The quality of the bed, shower and amenities was impeccable. I was travelling with my daughter who said to me "This is the nicest room we have ever stayed in". Could not have asked for more.

My daughter and i were dressed casually so some of the staff didn't pay too much attention to us. They elected to judge us thinking we may be just passing. One night we were returning from dinner but dressed in simple jeans etc. At the same time a couple walked in dressed up. The staff at the door fell all over the other couple to help them and looked past us. I overheard the conversation and heard that the other couple were simply arriving to have a drink yet we were staying. Interesting!
