This is an ideally located and comfortable motel right in the heart of Tumut but it was still lovely and quiet. The proximity to the beautiful walks along the Tumut River and parklands is a definite plus. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a north facing balcony was definitely a bonus, overlooking the garden, pool and riverside precinct.

We had a minor issue with our lighting which was difficult to resolve being a long weekend but managers appeared to do their best at the time. I really missed having an on-site reception.

Warm, comfortable welcoming room. Had everything I needed. Check in was seamless. There was a lovely outlook, we were close to the main street which was very convenient and yet the room was very quiet. I can't answer the question above about staff as I didn't meet any. Thank you for putting my friend and me in adjacent rooms and also allowing us a slightly later check out - much appreciated.

Very minor thing, but the little entrance way in the room felt a little sticky under my feet. Everything else was spotlessly clean.

Lovely spacious and clean rooms. TV had Netflix as well as normal TV. Great shower, fridge plus plates/cutlery included which was useful for take away. Cafe downstairs was really nice and the pool looked nice, was a bit too cold to go in!

I was a bit confused as I'd booked 2 Queen rooms which were described as having 1 Queen bed, a balcony etc. but when we arrived neither room had a balcony and one of the rooms was a large family room with 1 Queen bad and 1 single bed. It was just myself & my parents travelling, we would have happily shared for 1 night so it felt like such a waste booking 2 rooms!

Great central location to pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Excellent self check in process, clear communication and instructions from hotel. Great parking. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery/cutlery, kettle, microwave etc Loved the rear balcony for a relaxing evening meal. Highly recommend

Unfortunate the Two Tarts Cafe downstairs is no longer open

For a motel room it was surprisingly comfortable and felt very homely. lovely décor. Location was great as it was 100m walk to the main town area where we had pizza for dinner. Also a short walk down to the river and parklands. It was a cold winter's day and the air con was on and room warm when we arrived! No check in (or keys) necessary, just enter the code into the digital door lock. All very easy.

Great location, very close to pubs , cafes and shopping. We had some lovely meals at restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Keyless entry was very easy and saved worrying about taking keys if we went out or to the pool

The reception was unattended (which they told us about beforehand) there was tea and coffee provided but we had to go to the shops before we could have a cup of tea in the morning. Not a huge problem as the supermarket was very close.

The room was comfortable and hotel is in a very convenient location. Checkin is automated (via sms) in which you receive a key code for your room. The room has minibar and tea/coffee facilities which are always appreciated.

bathroom is perhaps a little dated however certainly clean and functional.

Great location. When we arrived I went to reception because I hadn’t read a text explaining the contact less check in. The woman was really helpful telling us about the pubs that served meals and most importantly the park and river walk near by. The room on the first floor was everything we needed. Loved that it had a balcony looking on to the garden. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable bed with great pillows. I liked the fact the liquid soap and shampoo came in a large container rather than wasting plastic with small sachets.. I had a lovely, peaceful night’s sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Access to down town, pubs and restaurants

Wifi was poor at best. Need more access points as wifi does not transmit thru brick and concrete well. If you stood out side the front door it was strong but in room with door closed it was constantly disconnecting due to low signal strength. My wife needed to work online during our stay this is the reason for this comment. No king beds available but not a deal breaker. Bed was satisfactory. Room was listed as queen but was actually just a double bed.

Walking distance to supermarket and shopping street. Walking distance to cafes, restaurant and pubs. Situated on main road for easy exit to onward travel. Overall clean and comfortable.

At this price point nothing we didnt like.
