We felt very much "at home". Shelley was most helpful and the rooms look like they have been recently upgraded to a very high standard. The nice new towels and the heated tiled bathroom floor were a treat. Well done to all involved.

Perhaps the bed being positioned a little closer to the window to allow for a bedside table on both sides. However I do understand that if a guest had a large wheelchair then the extra space would be needed to access one side of the bed.

Location and cleanliness. Good size room and kitchen facilities .

We advised heated bathroom floor not working, staff noticed fuse and control panel switched off . Reset ON OFF still didn't work 2nd morning as they did not reset timer. Frustrating as winter morning. Appears no management on site only to resolve issues just housekeeping staff doing what they do. This was only downside

very clean and tidy, plus having a little outdoor area if having people visit while awayis great, very pretty grounds.

i don't like to say anything bad, but the mattresses need replacing. i have slept in two different rooms and they are old or cheap with springs being felt while trying to get comfortable. that is my only complaint.

I have stayed in many, many hotels and motels in my time of all shapes, sizes and ratings and this one has to be one of the quietest I’ve ever come across. As a relatively light sleeper, external noise is always a factor I consider when choosing a place to stay and this one was brilliant - didn’t hear a thing when the other guests left in the morning. Add to that a well appointed and spacious room with an excellent shower and this place turned out to be an absolutely pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.

Really struggling to come up with anything…and I always come up with something. Was very happy with this stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Merivale. It was the most comfortable room we have had since leaving Queensland. The amenities were excellent, the heated floor in the bathroom area and the heated towel rail were excellent. As was the sink in the living area and ample power points. It was very clean and comfortable, would certainly stay again if in the area.

Good location, close to multiple dining options and shops. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchenette and large bathroom. Despite not being on site, the manager responded promptly when I asked for my key.

The sheets, kitchenette and toilet were squeaky clean but the room's floor had just been given a quick sweeping, with dust and debris remaining in the corners. Not too much of an issue if you're just passing through like I was.

Good location and liked having parking outside own door, comfortable bed and enjoyed the heated blanket, heat pump was good too

Everything except the hard bed.

I am a side sleeper and hate a firm bed. I tossed & turned all night. But I rarely find a soft bed anywhere. I don’t understand… if properties want to encourage your ongoing patronage & recommendations, why don’t they give you a comfortable mattress? Seems to me like a no-brainer. Otherwise, everything else was fabulous!

Everything. Pleasantly surprised with the updated rooms. Clean, comfortable, it was a warm day but the Air Con was already on thanks to the staff. Quiet off the main street with parking right at the room of the door.

Ummmm, nothing, all was good. Will be back again

Lovely quiet little motel set back from the main road. Rooms were well appointed, clean & modern. The bed was very comfortable & heated towel rails were a nice touch. The towels were really soft & nice. There was nothing I could fault. Check in & out was easy & we enjoyed our stay. Would definately stay again.
