I liked the location. It was a quiet area and good for families. The accommodation was spacious and the stay was decent.

Despite the photos the place is dated. Noticeable scuff marks on the wall especially as you go up the stairs. The stairs didn't look properly vacuumed and we found pet hair. Fortunately, none of my guests were allergic. Everything was quite basic but the photos are not exactly matched up to what the accommodation is. There were also dirty knives in the knife block. I think the cleaning definitely needed to be a lot more thorough.

Great location, plenty of room, very comfortable. Garage provided for parking, washing machine provided. Good security in the community

Nothing we didn’t like about the property, just a couple of minor things like it would be good to have a proper broom to sweep hard floors, globes that have blown in beside lamps to be replaced. Went to use the oven and whoever used it previously hadn’t cleaned the racks. As I’m a coeliac I chose the safer option and didn’t use the oven.

the room and space. and location, and balcony, would stay here again.!

the rooms could use some really good TLC and more attention to cleaning. our room had screws in the walls that shouldn’t be there and chips from previous items hanging on the wall, and repairs made that were messing. the reception is outta the way to the property which isn’t a big problem but it’s a round abour way. some more items in the rooms, (tissues) the photos advertised online here are definitely not what the rooms look like in fact there the other ones on the left side of the building we stayed in which look newer but in all it was good. be advertising on the fact this is a gated community and that there is underground car parking.

Beds were comfortable and the linen was good quality. The bedrooms were at opposite ends of the apartment, great for privacy. The floor to ceiling doors allowed the sea breeze in. The apartment had everything you needed. Plenty of space for up to four adults. We didn't notice any noise from other residents. The area had low to medium density accommodation which is refreshing. A small shopping centre nearby had cafes, retail stores and a bottle shop, Coles supermarket and tavern were in the retail centre, I would recommend the apartment and I could return and stay longer.

The swimming pool wasn't on site but in the gated community. A gulf buggy would be handy to move between amenities. Taxis in the area are hopeless. Balcony doors could not be locked and there were scuff marks on the interior walls.

The apartment had everything we needed in a great location, lovely facilities and environment. Walking distance close to great restaurants

The instant coffee sachets haha.. and the after hours check in process- seems crazy to have to send a photo of your credit card in this day and age. Also the directions print out we were provided with half cut off the most important piece of information (what to type into Google maps) and didn’t include other bits of info that would have been helpful like how to get into the garage and in and out of the building and how to use the gates leaving the compound (it’s easy- just press 1 for the garage and the rest you just swipe the black fob, still could have been told.) We just winged it but I felt like a contestant in Race Around the World following cryptic clues

The location was perfect for our requirements. The property was clean on arrival and a basic starter pack was provided (eg tea, coffee, laundry powder, soaps etc). Check in/check out process was efficient and the lady was very polite and helpful. The written instruction sheet about accessing and leaving the property was useful. Beds were comfortable.

Improvements include additional items in the kitchen as we had to go out and buy a few essentials (eg sharp knife, microwave dishes). A vacuum cleaner and dust pan & brush would have also be useful as we stayed three weeks - luckily I had bought mine stick vacuum from home. I thought it was quite expensive to stay at the Residence. The property needs a handyman to go around and just check a few things that need a little TLC (eg laundry cupboard doors, the cage for the outdoor bins).

Great location with proximity to shops, modern ammenities, washer and dryer was super handy

Hadn’t been properly vacuumed/swept, tables covered in marks that made them look rather unpleasant. My apartment faced the road so was quite noisy. Better light-blocking curtains would have helped me manage my jet-lag! Instructions on how to collect the key etc were quite detailed but still a bit complicated (visiting different properties at different locations etc) particularly with travel brain.

the location was close to shops and the motorway, everything was accessible, within driving range. it made it easier for us to get up and go everyday.

from what I saw in photos was completely different to what we saw in reality. common area lounge was old and tired. see above photos, that’s what I thought we were getting.

Our apartment at The Residences at The Peninsula was clean and modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and affordable stay on the Gold Coast. The location was perfect for our needs, and as a bonus, an easy walk to the shops.

The beds were too soft for our liking, and there were no face washers. A linen replacement service is only offered after 7 nights - it would have been great to receive fresh towels during our stay which was a five night stay.

It was close to where we wanted to explore and shops

The coffee table was very wobbly and had to be careful if we used it as I felt it was going to break. I brought a Alen key set and fixed it. The kitchen was only equipped with basic cooking equipment. No bowls to put a salad in or trays to put food on
