Close to the water. Just over the road from the river. Has a pool and looked out over the canal and park as well. Easy walk to noosaville shops and noosa heads though at least 50 minutes. Buses able to be caught on the way if too far. Not a large taxi fare home either if the bus and ferry timetables don’t match. Be aware though, to ride the bus you need to have a Go Card. No other payment type accepted. Was good to be able to watch the Australian Open Tennis.

Not a fan of the wooden furniture but it was adequate and useful. An upgrade or reno’ on that would really make the place look that much more classy.

we loved staying at the Noosa sun Motel. The managers Jackie and Darren are excellent hosts and were extremely accommodating for our needs and let us swap rooms so we could have a view of the canal. We loved the fact that they have taken so much thought into the small details, from the loo rolls to the biscuits in the rooms. We loved the location across from the Yacht Club and a short stroll to lots of places to eat.... and far away from the maddening crowds on Hasting street ( where all the cafes and restaurants are expensive - you will find far better food and cheaper in Noosaville) If we visit Noosa again we will definitely stay at the Noosa Sun Motel

nothing... its fabulous

Noosa Sun Motel is located directly across from the Noosa River in Noosaville. Check-in was automated and easy to use as we arrived after hours. The property is family owned and run and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly which made for a fabulous stay. Facilities were spotless, free washing machine and dryer for guests to use on-site, the pool area was small but tidy - although being winter I only dipped my feet in on one day! There were free SUP available for use although we ran out of time to try them! The owner even did a thorough clean and linen refresh for our apartment mid-way through our stay which was wonderful but completely unexpected as there is usually no clean mid-stay at other motels I've stayed at! There were a number of restaurants easy walking distance from the motel, including the Boathouse for sunset drinks overlooking the river, but it was far enough away that you didn't hear noise from the main shopping area. The boardwalks and park spaces on the river bank across the road made for a beautiful location and my daughter and I had a wonderful stay.

There was some traffic noise during the day as our apartment faced the river and therefore the main road in and out of Noosaville, but this noise died down early in the evening and never disturbed sleep. The property was located a fair distance out of Noosa and was a few kilometre walk to Hastings St and the main Noosa beach, taking us the better part of an hour each way, so it is easier if you have (or hired) a car to access Noosa easily, which we did. However, if you want a quieter stay a little out of the bustle of central Noosa, Noosa Sun Motel is perfect!

The management communicated beyond expectation, even advising us our room was ready without being asked. Everything was working, it was very comfortable and quiet, well set out interior. We were recommended to the sailing club directly opposite, and it was great, food excellent staff friendly and lovely evening views of the river. We will be back.

Only one thing, some rooms are upstairs, and quite steep, taking luggage up and down is difficult for seniors. We will ask for downstairs next visit.

We had a lovely unit. it was in a great spot, was very comfortable and clean. it was perfect for an overnight stay and our beds were perfect. it was definitely a great unit for an extended stay.

Our bathroom had a dreadful sewage smell. I suspect stagnant water or pipe issue somewhere. No actual person around to tell. 😡 Also I thought the full length mirror opposite the shower was unnecessary and disturbing. The TV was supposed to come with Stan etc but the internet didn’t work well enough to watch anything although we attempted several things. We did however cope with ‘Free to Air’ 😂

The property was more like a small apartment than a 'motel'. With the bedroom at the back it was nice and quiet, even though on the roadfront. Location was perfect with easy access to Noosaville restaurants. Self-checkin was smooth and meant we were under no pressure to arrive at a certain time. Lots of parking. Free use of large washing machine / dryer a bonus. Milk, tea and coffee provided.

The pillow was a little firm.

Friendly staff and our request for rooms beside each other plus cot were fulfilled. Delighted to get the ground floor although I forgot to mention in my booking. Appreciate the initiative knowing we had young kids in our group.

The beams in the car park were a little bit of a pain especially the parking lot right in front of the driveway. One of my family bumped his head on the beam while taking his toddler out from the car seat.

We loved everything about this establishment. Lovely apartment, great outlook over the river, scrupulously clean, comfortable beds & lounge, large TV, walk in shower. I honestly don't think we needed anything more. Jackie the manager was so lovely & easy to deal with, so friendly. The location is brilliant, walking distance to many restaurants or a very short drive. Yacht club is directly across the road & the ferry pick up/drop off is there as well. Ferry takes you to numerous locations including Hastings Street. The complex is beautifully taken care of, lovely pool & lovely gardens all very very neat, clean & tidy. All in all a fabulous stay & we would definitely stay again and would 100% recommend. Thanks for having us Jackie & we'll definitley be back

nothing we liked it all, no complaints from us at all

Large, comfortable and clean. With a quiet balcony for relaxing evenings. Location was not very central but it was alright with a car.

The entrance was unexpectedly steep for normal cars (probably ok for SUVs) and we hit the under carriage going in the first time. A sign of warning to go really slowly would have been helpful.

Excellent place to stay. The lady checking us in was so friendly and informative of place to go and eat. Our room was upstairs with a balcony. Lovely lounge dining kitchen area with bedroom seperate, nice bathroom with hot water. Recommend the hatch club across the road for a meal but noisy when busy, need to book a table. There is an Italian restaurant , told very good but more fine dining and fine prices. The ferry stops Infront of the hatch club so it was handy to get to Hastings St. We walked it one way, 4.5km took us 40 minutes. Will stay again next time.
