We were a family of 4 and we stayed in The White House Port Douglas for 3 nights during December of 2023. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom, kitchen, Washer and Dryer. One bedroom had a double/queen bed and the other had 2 single beds. There was a decent size living room, a small breakfast table. Things that are good: - Location: It is located just 1 block from the 4 mile beach. This is super convenient. - The shower and the Wash closet are in two different rooms which was very helpful for 4 of us. - The apartment was clean and updated. - The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you need to prepare meals. We didn't use the kitchen much but there was everything. - We had different towels for the beach and different towels for shower which was super appreciated - The check-in was very convenient. You are given a code to the safe and you take the keys from the safe and check-in to the apartment. We were able to check-in without any hassles. We also went right after the Cyclone Jasper and most of the other apartments were vacant. - There is a car park for the apartment and as there were only 2 cars it was easy to find parking.

The only thing I didn't like is that we found 2 cockroaches during out stay. I hear they fly in the air and it is difficult to control them...

Beds were super comfy and the whole place was clean and full of natural light. Obviously amazing access to town, harbor and surrounding beaches. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.

Only a small thing but it would have been nice to have some coffee pods supplied for the machine provided. Also a pity the pool doesn't get a bit more sun.

This accommodation was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Australia! The owners were so accommodating and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! The apartment is stunning, immaculate and has everything you need from the homely kitchen items such as sandwich bags to luxuries such as a tumble dryer! Outstanding!!!!

Nothing!!!

Great location close to beach and main street. Also there is a Beam electric scooter parking bay nearby if you fancy a different way to get around. Loved the Nespresso pod machine for coffees and one night all the restaurants were booked out, so we were able to go to Coles, buy ingredients and the apartment had everything we needed to whip up a meal for the family. The room was fully air-conditioned, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a family of 4, including smart TV and Foxtel. The washer and dryer were fantastic and we had off street parking undercover.

Honestly just nitpicking here - the pool area was a little dated but it was still beautiful to cool off. We also had stairs to navigate with luggage and there is no lift - so that is just something to consider in terms of accessibility. The place was great and there was very little to dislike!

tony the on site manager was so lovely and helpful and made our holiday so enjoyable. this property is the perfect spot to stay in port Douglas maximum 5 minute walk into the Main Street of macrossan the beach is literally across the road which is situated next to the surf club. the hotel itself is immaculate to the highest standards of cleanliness and the grounds beautifully maintained. my sisters and I had the most amazing holiday here and will definitely be back soon. thank you so much tony and all White House staff.

Beautiful, well-appointed apartments a stone's throw away from Port Douglas surf club, The Surfy, and Four Mile Beach. The owner at The White House was welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Would recommend for families. Our kids loved splashing about in the pool.

The interior design, soft furnishings, kitchen equipment and every type of plate, glass and mug that you would ever need. The outlook onto tropical ferns and palms was fantastic and we had breakfast on the balcony every morning.

It didn’t really worry us but the pool is more of a backyard pool rather than a resort style pool.

This Accomodation is in an amazing location and the rooftop apartment number 9 is simply the best! Only 2 minutes away from the patrolled 4 mile beach and 5 minutes to the start of the main street I’ll make sure to stay at the same place next time. The rooftop balcony is huge and makes breakfast outside even more so special.

No complaints at all

The layout, cleanliness and facilities were superb. The location to the beach front a town centre was excellent and the whole family loved our stay. We travelled from the UK and couldn’t be more delighted with our choice.

Amazing location and staff. Great size and decor of accommodation and everything you could need plus more in the kitchen. Perfectly located for everything in Port Douglas. wish we had booked for longer!

swimming pool was small but not really important for us when you have the Great Barrier Reef in your door step
