Thanks for a great stay Cap Motel! Staff were welcoming & happy to answer all our questions. Our rooms were clean & spacious. The highlight was having really comfortable beds to come back to after 12hr shifts on track. All 9 guys send a big thank you to the owners, and have requested this be our preferred stay in Rocky.

The fact we couldn't stay longer.

Our stay was only an overnight while doing a road trip. The room was comfortable & clean with adequte kitchen facilities eg toaster & electric jug, crockery, fresh milk, butter & condiments to make breakfast. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly and hospitable.

Although we telephoned to advise we could arrive just after 6pm we were advised that reception would be available later. So check in was easy & although we were told dinner had to be ordered by 6:30pm we were 10 minutes late in getting to the restaurant after freshening up in our room. The manager was curt in telling us it was not acceptable to order after time. We understood his reasons but it wasn't that we were overly late or a large group. We offered to go elsewhere but were served our choosen meal which was good.

It was good to have the end unit on the block, and in a place that I could see the pool from my verandah. The staff were very friendly and gave us a full run down of the amenities and an explanation of the unit setup.

My daughter got pretty nasty chlorine burn in her eyes despite her using goggles. Clean pool though. They had let us know the pool had just been cleaned so we entered at our own risk.

The rooms were a good size. I liked that they provided a toaster in your room. The staff were friendly . No fault of the facility but during our stay there were power outages but they notified us of this when we checked in

I booked 3 rooms for this stay. Only 1 of the rooms didn't have a bin outside and there was a baby so we had no where to put dirty nappies except in the little bin under the sink . We were in and out a fair bit and I didn't ask if we had some place to put nappies seen as no outside bin in that room.

This is such a great place to stay. I stay here everytime I'm in Rocky. I love how it's very clean, it's very modern and fresh, I love the garden view, I love the undercover parking. This is by far the best motel to stay at.

Honesty, I can't really think of anything I didn't like

Clean and spacious, decent sized fridge, smart TV, laundry on-site, nice to have private outdoor sitting area as well.

Some road noise with the doors / windows open - but as it’s off the highway that’s to be expected. Once I shut everything up for the night, didn’t hear a thing and slept well.

Location was perfect for me as the reason for my visit was CQU residential school. Everyone was friendly, the resident sausage dog made me laugh cause I have one at home and the bed was super comfy.

Lovely location and the room was cosy and had everything we needed

The water pressure in the shower was not all that good and the road works but I am sure neither of those were the fault of the facility

We had dinner at the bistro and the meals were wonderful. Nice pool and nice place to sit outside your room, overall we enjoyed our stay.

The bed was really uncomfortable and was on wheels so every time you moved it slid around.

we booked this hotel for my son who was doing a weeks prac at the uni, it was convenient as it was walking distance. In my dealings with the hotel prior to the trip it was great, they were very helpful. As my son is on the spectrum, all be it high functioning, it was important I find him a hotel that was going to be accomodating and comfortable for him.I thought this hotel was going to suit.

During the week, due to walking to the uni and back my sons shoes fell apart. When checking out he asked the reception for a piece of tape to put around his shoes. After the gentleman gave him the piece of tape he asked for $3.00 and said “ nothing is free”. After paying $666 on accommodation alone, I Believe this is rude and petty. My son was going to stay at your hotel for every prac he had over the next 3 years. I’m sorry but that $3.00 just cost you thousands.
