Allan the host was very friendly and told us what we needed to know. Although there was other guests we never actually got to meet them so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We felt like queens in a beautiful English lounge. The breakfast was a highlight and everything was first class and home-made, I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again if we happen to be in need of accommodation in the area

Our accommodation was fabulous...so peaceful, comfortable and unique. Janice was friendly and gave us everything we needed. The bedroom and living area were spacious, the gardens and grounds relaxing, and the afternoon tea and continental breakfast exceeded our expectations. While the purpose of our trip was at Coolum, the 20-minute drive gave us the chance to experience the beautiful countryside. Our trip to the Ginger Factory the next day was an added bonus since it was so close by. We would love to go back to Hilltop Hideaway.

Great quiet location, very spacious. Wasn't quite sure what to expect when we got there. We booked a room and our friends booked the other room. Rooms each had their own private bathrooms (we had an event in the area). We were very pleased to get there and find out that the 2 rooms shared a very large lounge room and breakfast area together (totally seperate to the hosts). So great place to book if you have friends with you. Breakfast as mentioned by everyone else was amazing!

Generous fresh fruit and muesli with yoghurt. Homemade preserves with DIY toast. Relaxing outlook. The hostess was anxious to provide all the assistance possible and made my weekend most enjoyable. Janice treated me with attention and service above expectations.

There was little to improve on. Perhaps a grab hold in the enormous shower recess would be helpful for the older demographic.

Had a wonderful stay. So lucky to have " Magenta room " at the last minute, which was overlooking an amazing ground. Host Janice & Allan are friendly & accommodating. There were chocolates in the room, and home made x'mas cake is to die for. Plenty of tea & coffee options throughout the day. Continental Brekki was a highlight with home made Cereal. Home made Jam & Marmalade can be purchase for $ 5/ per bottle. Janice was happy to share her own delicious muesli recipe. Highly recommend and we will return !! We left behind our phone charger and they were kind enough to post it to us, which we got it in 2 days.

The fruit salad was the tasiest I've ever had. Great location for visiting the Sunshine Coast. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back when I'm up that way again.

Lovely fresh continental breakfast with delicious fresh fruit. Tea making facilities with fresh banana bread was a nice surprise. This is a great place to stay for quiet and tranquillity. Hosts were welcoming, without being in your face.

Only minor, but shower floor was incredibly slippery. There was a non slip mat available, so make sure you position it prior to turning the shower on.

The quiet private scenic surroundings, comfy bed, tv, netflix, and warm shower, breakfast and a lovely host. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, sublime furniture, and the garden around the house breathtaking. Views going on forever from the back verandah.. peaceful atmosphere.

Maybe suggest a partition of some sort for more privacy of the two rooms doorways. The door also to the bathroom needs to be closed firmly to stay. One plover swooping down out the huge vast backyard near some water protecting her nest.

Breakfast was lovely, everything was supplied, toast, cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruits. Very nice. Our room was lovely with views out to the big pond, gazebo & ocean in the background. The bed was very comfortable and everything spotless. The hosts were very friendly and made our stay a happy one.

The hosts are attentive, yet cognisant of the need of privacy. I love that you were invited to 'do' things, like bring a meal to cook on the BBQ, rather than provided a list of 'what not's'. Allan even drove us to and from a wedding in the region- and made us feel so comfy though out our stay. The breakfast was beautifully fresh and you could see the attention to detail and care was something that makes 'true' B&B's stand out.

Parking? But this was not major. And there is sound from one of the other rooms, but again, not a big deal.
