The friendly staff were very professional and empathetic. I am elderly, with limited mobility and I think they went over and beyond their responsibilities in helping me and my relatives who came to visit me commented how impressed they were with their courtesy. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, the amenities in the room met all my expectations and I enjoyed the ability to sit outside, but under cover on the balcony. I very much appreciated the addition of extra supplies (on display during Reception opening hours) that any guest would require - such as toilet paper, soap, dishwashing liquid, sugar, etc. I will stay there again next time I am in Adelaide.

There is very little that I didn't like. As a suggestion, maybe there could be an additional information sheet listing phone numbers for housekeeping, security, how often the rooms are serviced, what to do with excess rubbish. I don't remember a fire escape plan anywhere in the room. All those questions though were answered by the staff.

The customer service from the team at Durham serviced apartments was exceptional, we had a plumbing issue within our room and the were able to move us rooms as maintenance was unavailable and upgraded us. They made our stay comfortable and felt like home. The location was convenient for all our needs, it was fantastic.

The only downside about the property was the parking $25 a for VERY limited car spaces (8) for a hotel with many more rooms and the tightness of the car park. I had a large SUV for all my family to fit into while we stayed and it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre in and out of the apartments and within the car park around all the obstructions within the car space.

Location was excellent, close to all amenities in Glenelg. Although down a side street I didn't feel insecure walking back at night. The room itself was well set out, the kitchen facilities were great - full sized fridge, microwave, kettle etc. I didn't need use the cooktop. My only suggestion would be to supply a dish-rack to dry the dishes on. Washing machine and dryer were a real bonus. The bed was very comfortable.

There was some confusion about the parking - I had assumed it was undercover and close to the accommodation and it was down the road in an unsecured area. It mean't I had to carry my luggage and personal items from the car to the accommodation as I couldn't trust that the car would be safe. I suggested to the staff member on reception that perhaps this should be clarified in the listing for the accommodation. After 2 nights I was assigned a secure, undercover parking spot, however, I wasn't told this until the 4th night. The Manager was very helpful and walked me down to the new parking area.

Location was brilliant. Close to the beach, tram into town and the Main Street shops. The property is new and modern. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. Great to have a washing machine/dryer in our room. We also loved having a private balcony. Good air con as well.

The bathroom light and lounge light are connected which is a problem if you want to have a shower early without waking up the other room occupier. Also, my husband and I had never come across an “induction hob” stove top. The instructions on the hotel leaflet are not great. I did pass on that more detailed instructions are needed.

Location is fantastic, size of the apartment was excellent.

There was a lot of construction, not the properties fault but it meant it was quite noisy because there is no natural light unless you have the balcony door open - which lets the noise in. Also the tea/coffee stocks weren't re-freshed so I couldnt have a cup of tea (only my friend who visited, there was only one tea bag - but I definitely advised two people would be staying) Also the bathroom light switch was a bit hard to turn on, and I ended up wandering around in the dark a bit. It wasnt a super big issue but it's just feedback. Also - the charge for late check in was a bit of a rude shock. I was lucky that I could get there in time, but it was a bit deceiving to be charging so much for after 7pm, not even 10pm.

Location was perfect as we did not have a car. Light rail was available for us and within walking distance there were many food outlets, shopping, beach and pubs to be entertained. We had a balcony to sit out and watch the people below move about. Our bed was very comfortable as are the pillows.

Small things matter, right? Why do accommodations provide cheap awful tissues and toilet paper that we all use regularly?? Please consider better quality necessities for the amount of money we pay for a room. Directions of how to turn on the lights would be helpful and Durham Apartments don't have the device where you slip in your room key to operate power. We finally worked out the light switch at the top of many switches on one pad was the main to all the room lights!

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was nice, bathroom was great too. Location was perfect for exploring not only Glenelg, but Adelaide and surrounds too.

Parking. Firstly, remember to book or you will miss out. Paid parking was across the road, with no gates or locks and not undercover. There is no dedicated place to park to check in either, which makes it extremely hard if it's busy. Was looking forward to sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by, but you could only see the sky once you sat down because of the high safety wall. So we essentially paid extra for a balcony that you couldn't see anything on. This may not matter to everyone, of course.

Fabulous location. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, even offering to drop the keys to me at work.

Would be good to have a bowl to put cereal in. The ones provided are not deep enough. The chopping board is way too big for the size of the kitchen. A smaller one would be more appropriate. As there is only one saucepan it would be nice to have a lid for it. It would also be nice to have a jug to put water in for the fridge to have cold water. A small coffee table next to the lounge would be nice as there is nowhere to put a glass or cup except the floor. This is where you would sit to watch the television so it would seem appropriate to have one there as the dining table is on the other side of room under the television. As this is a new hotel (only opened two weeks ago) I hope that they take this on board.

Loved the cleanliness, the proximity to all everything like food and beach. Transport was easy with the tram only mere steps away. The room had everything you need, was clean, neat and tidy. Everything was fresh and upto date decor.

Car park was ridiculous to try and get into, so tight and one night we had to go to the exit and go in backwards due to cars parked on Durham road and blocking the lane way. The rooms while we didn't hear too much noise was not soundproof, one night there was a baby next door...let's just say every time the baby woke to be fed ...we were also woken. Oh and you might want to check the login pages for Google Chrome...it reads room 204 fuck off....we had a giggle at it but others might not be.

We loved the location of the apartment, very close to the shops and the tram to be able to travel into town. The room was lovely and clean, and it was nice to feel safe and secure. Staff are absolutely lovely.

We also had a carpark in the enclosed carpark. I have a small car, but the parking was quite small and hard to maneuver our car. We could only open one of the roller doors with our dongle, so I had to back out. If someone was in the lane (parked from the restaurant) then there was no way I was getting out. It would've been great if we could've opened both roller doors. But we survived.
