Great hotel, especially given its distance from Adelaide but, of course, proximity to the race track. I've stayed there twice, both on runs to and from Adelaide, and would happily stay there again. If you want a comfortable room at a good price it has that in spades. For me, being an hour and a bit down the road out of Adelaide is also a bonus as it is not far to travel but gives a handy head start in the morning. The staff are very good - friendly, welcoming and efficient. The restaurant and bar were not open the evening I was there but, mid-week with no track activity, that was understandable - zero complaints. Heaps of parking space right outside and, for petrol-heads, the lobby is a dream - some really exotic cars, and a couple of motorcycles (I'd be happy to help arrange more of a collection of the latter :-D ). Will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great, with a great view of the track Staff were very helpful and attentive Location suited us very well both on our way to Adelaide and our way home Staff upgraded us to a pit lane room as we had stayed a couple of nights earlier on the other side

Possibly a smoother late check in option would be great Bathrooms need better extraction for the hot air/steam Mini bar would be a great addition with some snacks Otherwise all was great and will def stay again

Stepping into Rydges Pit Lane Hotel, I found myself surrounded by the exhilarating world of motorsports. The ambiance was electric, and my room was a haven of modernity and comfort, with a bed that seemed to hug me back to sleep.

Yet, there was an aspect of my stay that proved challenging. As someone who isn’t as spry as I used to be, the long trek to my room was daunting. The unique layout of the hotel meant navigating an extensive stretch, which included 284 steps. While I appreciated the distinctiveness of the hotel, a heads-up about the distance would have been helpful for better planning, especially for those of us with mobility considerations.

Was a stopover on the way to Melbourne. Glad we chose this over some cheaper accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay there again. Buffet breakfast was ok. The kitchen was quite happy to accommodate my additional request due to dietary requirements

The bath towel was well used and had a hole in it, given it was only for one night I didn't worry about it too much. Door to bathroom was only a sliding door and doesn't give full privacy if needed. Hotel was mostly empty, however, we were given a room very far away from reception.

We loved the voucher that we received for declining a room service, we picked up a coffe from the cafe in the lobby and headed to the SkyDeck before leaving to watch the cars doing hotlaps. Perfect spot to visit Langhorne Creek wineries (we did the Grapes for Good trail), dinner on the Murray River and a free ferry ride across the Murray home. All in close distance.

The logo for 'The Bend' is very ugly.

Location was perfect for what I needed. Except for breakfast which I don't have, the restaurant Was always closed, when I got back to hotel. Obviously they only catered for the racing circuit, the hotel was next to or part of.

No bar fridge in room, restaurant didnt cater or work around local event times. And as that is predominantly what the hotel is there for, it was pretty Piss poor.

It’s on the race track. Has a restaurant, gym and apparel store. we liked the display of cars.

1. Food in restaurant could be improved: - too many unhealthy battered or crumbed options. There is only the steak and slow cooked ribs that are not crumbed or battered. You should provide other protein options such as chicken and fish with lots vegetables. 2. The coffee with the buffet is horrible, too watered down. 3. Try to provide more bread options with buffet: wholemeal, grain etc 4. Provide another chair in the rooms and a small table. If there are 2 people in room 2 chairs are essential. 5. the lighting in the room is poor. It’s hard to see in the cupboard. In bathroom, mirror lighting is poor.

Was a great stop en route from Melbourne to Nullabor Plain. I had no idea it was inside a race track but that aspect ended up being a fun part of the stay as we enjoyed the racing car museum in the hotel lobby & didn’t have any plans to visit Tailem Bend town. Great barista coffee at the lobby “cafe”. Also had a restaurant onsite for dinner and breakfast.

Great place, and amazing night staff/manager. Fantastic display on the ground floor. Had an upgrade to track view, and it was great! Alas, there was no race going on, so nothing to see. Would have been great if we came during a race. Would be back again.

Come only during times of race and/or gokart, otherwise there is not too much to do.

The location is several kilometers outside of the town however there was a service station nearby which had several choices of take away food.

We were not able to book dinner at a suitable time as we had planned to watch the NRL Grand Final so ended up getting take away. There was no room service on a Sunday evening. Room a distance away from bar/restaurant.
