The property was amazing! Steph and Rob were wonderful hosts and the work they have done on this unique accommodation is remarkable. The gardens were beautiful and every room in our cabin was tastefully furnished, with a definite French flair. I loved sitting out back and watching the numerous birds fly in among the flowers and trees. We arranged for dinner to be prepared for us, since we had had a very long driving day, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast, the next morning, was also a treat. I cannot say enough to emphasize the beauty of this setting and how much we enjoyed our stay! If you have a chance to stay here, be sure to do it!!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay overall. Just on the outskirts of the township it was lovely and quiet, loved the rustic country charm coupled with the beautiful antique furnature. The owners were lovely to deal with and made sure their facilities were clean cosy and catered for. They were warm and welcoming.

Unfortunately we didnt have alot of time back at our accomodation to appreciate the views and have a look around our room but it was a lovely site while we were there. The bathroom amenities were well looked after and clean they were spacious enough and i really liked how they had decorated them was unique and creative. However they were seperate from the room which we had found a slight inconvenience but if that doesnt bother people too much its a no biggie and we were quite ok with that. We found the mattress was a bit too firm in the room we had so had a hard time getting comfortable. But the bedding was ample for a cooler time of the year.

The B&b is exquisite in its eclectic decor. The place is easy to find, the bed was so comfy, the water was hot with good pressure in the outdoor shower and the breakfast was a delicious treat. Highly recommend and would stay again. There is a microwave, tea and coffee, a heater if needed (not needed on my stay as was so cosy) and eco home touches everywhere. It’s so quiet and relaxing, loved it. The family are so welcoming and the dog is the cutest.

A la Folly is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We spent 2 nights, but could easily have stayed week. The hosts are exceptional, pancakes for breakfast are delicious and the coziness and decoration of the place are unique. The view from the private outdoor area is stunning..We had a bottle of wine at sunset watching a couple of blue fairy wrens and hundreds other bird species. We haven't been back home (Europe) for very long time, and we were a bit homesick. At La Folly we felt just like home. They are Pet Friendly and have welcomed our cat Buffalo Bill just as if he was a person/guest as well. He loved climbing to the aircon 😻.

The crepes tasted just like in France, beautifully decorated plates as well. The rooms were like a living museum, so many things to look at, leaf through and even discover (like the starry ceiling at night). Super-nice hosts, chatty but discreet. It was an almost magical place :-)

My second stay at A La Folly and it is the most gorgeous place to spend some time. I introduced it to a friend who agrees with me. Everything about it takes me to a level of appreciation of the care and detail that is not found in many accommodations. Thank you to the friendly hosts who treat each guest as if they are their only guest for the year!!!!

A La Folly is a paradise if you’re an artist! Every nook and corner of this place is beautiful, quirky, charming and inspiring. We had such a wonderful stay and the host Stef is so humble and caring. Even the food she made for us was with such care and detail, with flowers and herbs and flavours. She even shared one of her French recipes that I loved the most. All in all, we enjoyed the magical quiet summer days in the countryside with the animals, birds and beautiful people. We will be definitely coming back to this little paradise!

The customer service was exceptional as were the meals that Stef cooks up. The free pancake breakfast was a great way to conclude the overnight stay too. The hosts are simply great people who obviously really enjoy what they do, Would love to see stay when the Murray River is at flood levels right out their front door.

There wasn't anything to not like about this stay.

So much character throughout the property, super tidy, the owner was incredibly welcoming, and it was so quiet. She had the air conditioner running so the room was lovely and cool when I arrived. And not to mention the most dog friendly place I’ve stayed, she even had a water bowl ready on arrival for my dog.

Rob and Stef and Chop were friendly from the get go and very welcoming!!! I honestly can't recommend them enough for anyone looking for accommodation in the area, as it's perfect for a little couples night away or like myself in the area for work! Thank you again guys 🙏

Shower toilets were freezing some sort of heat source would be brilliant but again for the amount paid and how amazing every other aspect was, you truely can not fault them or complain thank you again for a amazing stay!!
