Firstly, when arriving the host Andy was very friendly and helpful. We didn't meet Rachael until the next morning when she delivered our breakfast to the table in our room. She is lovely and great for a chat. Nothing seemed a chore even though they take care of most things themselves, work and have two gorgeous kids, Thomas and Evie. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone in the future. The room was large with ensuite and all the amenities that might be needed. The stay was so relaxing. It is fabulous and the actual house is beautiful.

Quiet location, next to the river, The gardens were well looked after and Rachal was happy to chat about the property,and garden. We booked the Tulip Room located in the garden - it was spotlessly clean and very coimfortable. Breakfast was delicious - we opted to have continental breakfast (cooked breakfasts were available).

We stayed in the twin units at the rear of the fabulous house. The unit was very spacious and comfortable, with great views of the river from the well kept extensive gardens. The hostess was very friendly and informative. The town of Wynyard is very well presented and interesting. Breakfast was very well presented to our unit and was a great start to the day. Would definitely stay here again. Handy location to visit the tulip farm at table cape.

We could not fault the property

We really enjoyed this place. our host, Racheal, was excellent and we had a long chat about working for BHP and RTIO which we both had done. She had good information about the local area. being on the edge of town, yet close to the centre, made this quiet place ideal for us. Having breakfast served in our room was a bonus.

I liked that the inc;uded breakfast was sufficient quantity, with choices; plus that the host brought breakfast to the room. Breakfast arrived at the requested time. The room was spacious for my needs and had a desk. The microwave and fridge etc were convenient as well.

it was very nice experience staying one day @ Alexandria B&B on our way from Stanley to Cradle Mountain. Rachel gave us a lot of ideas and advice, the facility of the rooms were all right for us and the breakfast was just as good as professional restaurant

Breakfast (we only had continental although cooked was available) just amazing, detail with fruit and home made yoghurt, beautifully presented on fresh white crockery.

It was just us, value for money, cosy and comfortable, breakfast included, friendly, helpful, informative host (Rachel). Nothing we could fault, apart from the weather, but autumn trees and views made up for that.

The friendliness and caring nature of the owner. There was privacy in that the rooms were separate from the house. The continental breakfast was more than basic. Easy parking.

This a lovely B & B. The room had just been beautifully renovated and you could tell that a lot of thought and effort had gone into making this a very comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend.
