The staff here are absolutely wonderful--super accommodating, personable, flexible, attentive. We rarely stay at the same place twice but we were so impressed we decided to book an immediate follow up. It's nice to know you can trust an experience these days and we found Boathouse Resort Studios to be consistently satisfying especially in the genuine service orientation of the staff. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, high standard provisions were provided in kitchen and bathroom, and the outdoor pool was a fabulous bonus. Of course the location was the main attraction and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and strolling along beautiful stretches of beach all day, and then taking a slow foreshore walk towards Rye's Summer Carnival. Highly recommend.

The location was excellent, central and an easy drive to Sorrento, Portsea, Rye and basically anywhere on the peninsula. The room was one of the best I have stayed for appointments ( small kitchenette, spacious bathroom, king size bed, even a clothes airer, ironing board and iron). There was a 2 seater sofa so we didn't have to sit on the bed to watch TV. It was clean and when we arrived it was quite a cold day but the heater had been turned on in the room so it was nice to walk into a warm room.

The king size bed was comfortable but I have become accustomed to an adjustable bed so lying completely flat gave me a backache. That it a personal thing and does not reflect on the quality of the bed.

I recently stayed at the Boathouse Resort Studios and Suites, and it was a fantastic experience—absolutely 10/10! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The level of cleanliness was exceptional; everything from the bathroom to the kitchenette was spotless. The bed was the perfect balance of firmness and softness, making it ideal for a restful night. The amenities in the room were well-thought-out, providing everything I needed without feeling cluttered. The location was another huge perk; it was peaceful yet close enough to enjoy local attractions, beaches, and restaurants. It made for a convenient and relaxing getaway, combining both comfort and accessibility.

Facilities and staff were absolutely exceptional. Staff kept us informed of any changes and/or updates throughout our stay. Staff (Beck and Leah) were super friendly and very approachable. We will definitely stay here again. The location was perfect to do all activities on the Mornington Peninsula.

Wifi continually dropped in and out, and for the last 3 days, it did not connect to our mobile devices at all. Unfortunately, our Telco provider did not have strong reception without the Wifi, so we were relying on it quite heavily in the evening. Also feel it could be more beneficial if the smart TV in the room was connected to the internet in order to access various streaming services that are located in the apps. The sliding doors to the balcony on our last evening with heavy winds during the night, rattled throughout the night, so maybe a handyman to look at it to rectify this would be beneficial for future occupiers.

Room was spacious. Bathroom quite modern and water pressure and heat temperature of water was great. Was awesome having a full sized fridge. Handy that a restaurant was next door. Close proximity to everything, felt quite central where we were at the Boathouse

There was no suitcase rack. I have an issue but I don't like it when there is mouldy sink hole. When you look in the bathroom mirror you can also see mould where the silicone joins the benchtop. Both the kitchen and bathroom needed the drain hole cleaned and the bathroom sink needs some bicarb and vinegar as the water doesnt get away easily. Having said this, I come from a climate where mould is an issue and we do everything to eliminate it.

This would be our third stay at Boathouse Resort, each and every time its great, its very close to our activities we wish to partake and very close to shops and restaurants. All piers we like to fish are all within 30 mins of our stay, so thats a plus, Leah at the front desk is always a pleasure to work with, always with a smile, she always does her best to meet our request and make the stay as pleasant as possible. never mentioned it was our anniversary but was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade. The rooms are all quite spacious and cosy, sufficient powerpoints for multiple devices, bathroom and room overall very clean.

The numbers on the bricks which indicate parking location could be changed/updated to make it more visible for guest coming in at night.

Staff were very attentive with my questions before our stay , room was quite spacious for the two of us, we booked the Suite. Reception took on my concerns about the hot water in the room very swiftly and rectified my concerns. We came down to fish, location was all within about 30 mins of where we wanted to fish, which was great. Second time staying, and it was great, reasonably priced.

Parking for the first ten rooms was a bit tight, if people didnt park to their dedicated lane, it would overlap with the next car space. thin walls, or it could come down to having a glass door,

We had an amazing stay at the resort. The team, Bec and Jess, were super lovely from the first phone call, with tips and help during our stay, and a friendly good bye when we were leaving. Bed was super comfy. Fridge was big which was great. We cycled to the ocean beach and back (4.5km), and went lots of times to the beach 50m from the property. Shops (Cafe, sushi bar, IGA, bottle shop, and boutiqes) are only about 100m away, which was great. The restaurant on site had excellent food and does take away. We as well went to the Peninsula Hot Springs 15min car drive, Sorrento for some retail therapy less than 10min drive, and Rye (8min) for a bike ride along the foreshore. In Rye we as well had a yummy ice cream and the playground was great for the 3 and 5 year old kids. Felt super welcome, hope to get back soon!

Location was perfect. Very clean! All the facilities you need. Very cute. Solar heated pool. Felt like i was in another country. Friendly helpful staff.

The bed was utterly horrible. When my sister was cough, wriggle or move an arm, it would shake me awake. If she turned fully, it was like an earthquake. We stayed in the family size room (fits 5 adults). Mum and dads bed was good. I'd probably still go back though the positives far out weight this one negative. Depends what you value.

I loved that the room had a full size fridge, cook top and microwave, the pool was just amazing! Half of it is under shade which was great for our young children, only a 5min drive to Rye and Sorrento very good location. Blairgowrie beach is right across the road but on this particular day it didnt really look very inviting so we just drove to Rye. Love that there was powerpoints on either side of the bed. I was impressed with how clean the room was and this alone is a huge selling point for me. Having a restaurant on site and a coffee shop just across the road was also nice. Dvd player in the room kept our kids entertained at night. Reception staff were lovely, friendly and professional.

The bed was too high for small children (not a big thing offcourse but was just not ideal for us) The shower pressure and fan could be better and some fly screen doors would be great so you can leave the doors open to let in some fresh air at night. Some little extra's like small jams and maybe 4 milks instead of 2 would have been great given that we booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children so even though the milks are intended for coffee, given that we paid for 4 people I think 4 small milks wouldnt break the bank too much (the property did offer to give us some extra milks after I enquired but I just think it should be the standard without asking) All very minor things, overall a wonderful stay.
