Everything was so great.

Our room backed onto the kitchen vent which was quite loud, however we were given the heads up about this before our stay so can't complain.

Location the staff were efficient and professional

On the last night which was a Saturday The bar was excessively crowded with a disco. A group of us did not want to go in there in fact it was too crowded and I believe it was dangerous with drink and overcrowded. We were told there was no other placeand the staff were Barry matter of fact. We asked to see a supervisor and we were given a table but at 11 pm we were told that area was closed and we were being rushed out it is a pity because the 3 days stay in general was very very good but this tainted it. Unfortunately, this could stop us booking that hotel in the future which is a shame because everything else was impressive.

Great location. The studio rooms were beautiful and had their own car parks. Loved the bed !!! Well stocked fridge / nibbles too.

The construction is a bit of a mess right now. Couch looks great but very low and not very comfortable. Toilet is low too. But it all looked beautiful.

It was beautiful! Clean. The interior was classy and stylish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The pool is so dreamy! The massage spa is so great. The rooftop bar was fantastic. The food was fantastic. Oysters were fresh and so good. Prawn pizza was so delicious. The dessert was fantastic in the restaurant. And the food. The staff were so lovely.

I feel bad faulting the property as I just loved this place so much. However, personal preference, I found the bed uncomfortable and lumpy, and not soft and dreamy like I would imagine for such a beautiful hotel.

Fabulous mid-week getaway at the newly refurbished Hotel Sorrento! The new pool and bar were outstanding, staff extremely friendly and helpful, amenities top notch. Breakfast, which was included, was generous and delicious. Whilst the room was comfortable (Poolside) the furnishing was quite sparse and cold. There were two extremely uncomfortable metal outdoor chairs on the balcony but no table? There also seemed to be a colony of spiders living on the balcony… ugh! Inside there was a lovely sofa but no coffee table, instead a round ottoman… Overall a great experience but a little lack lustre interior wise. Thank you to the amazing team that looked after us, in particular Leah (guest services) and James (Poolside). We will definitely be back.

Excellent location otherwise let down by huge apartment block built directly between hotel and the sea and insufficient accessible parking for house guests. Sometimes the only guest parking available is 100 metres or so away from the hotel grounds and on the side of the street.

Breakfast was phenomenal, view was gorgeous, styling was fantastic, staff were brilliant. Very very happy.

The 2 beds in room 9 are different. One is quite firm and one is quite soft so when they are pushed together in king formation it's not very nice. They also both slope into the middle which is very noticable. I'm also not a fan of sheet-style duvet covers because the sheets move and get lost and tangled. The tap in our bathroom was also loose and fell off the first time we used the sink. There is also a leak in the shower, water came out under she showerscreen near the toilet.

The room was exceptional. Loved the outdoor bath and the room was a great size. Loved the little details and attention like getting the room ready for bed while we're out for dinner. The quality of everything was wonderful including the breakfast! Delicious food and fantastic options. Loved the adjustable lighting from day to night. Such a beautiful, calm and enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again and hopefully next time when it's warmer weather so we can enjoy the stunning outdoor pool!

Our room was facing the car park on the ground floor and the wall separating the two was quite low so it didn't feel very private as I could see over the top of the wall and also hear everything. This is a bit awkward especially when using the outdoor bath. If the wall was a bit taller, this likely wouldn't be a problem (even though no one can see over and in, it still felt weird). The temperature in the room can't be higher than 24 degrees which isn't warm enough during winter. Shower was stunning but the shower head pressure wasn't the greatest.

Pool, room, bathroom, breakfast was fantastic. The renovation is lovely.

Nightclub

Super comfortable beds and the loft room was great, spacious and lovely view.

Food service in ShiHuiShi was somewhat confused. We had one pax prawn allergy but staff didn’t know what food contained prawn when delivering to the table. Premix cocktails served at the pool could use some finessing. The same ordered spritzer arrived a different colour with different garnish, on the second round. The spicy margaritas were disappointing, especially compared to the awesome version served in ShiHuiShi.
