The location was very good. The use of the kitchen was also very useful. The staff was nice. The room had a balcony and a nice view until the smokers and loud people started hanging out.

Noisy. I would advise people to book the street side. There is so much noise from the parking lot and pool. One day a very loud party of very loud people went on from noon until 11 pm. Almost every night we were woken up by loud people talking in the hallway at 3 am and even 5 am. I am not sure why there were so many inconsiderate people staying there.

It's a very well located hostel, despite the number of people staying there it's quiet. You have a private bathroom in the room. Breakfast is included and really very good.

unfortunately some travelers here have been there for a long time so it's difficult to integrate (this is not the hostel's fault but important to know). In addition some travelers who have lived there for a while, work for the hostel and are not pleasant. But the rest of the staff is so nice. And the room was not washed every day just changed the trash.

Well located in Perth, with a bus stop at the door and still only few minutes walk from the downtown. It’s a hostel so you can expect it to be noisy and busy, yet at 11pm the staff ensures no parties is allowed (although some people failed to understand that). As I said, it’s a hostel so the customers are generally young and here to have fun, that has to be expected but we had a nice stay for a very good price.

Rooms and bathrooms could use a bit of uplift, but then it’s a cheap accomodation and not a 5 stars hotel, nothing dramatic.

Convenient location, only 10 minute walk to the cbd. Lots of cafes, Hyde Park just around the corner. Having check in late is handy with staff there at all times. The pool looks nice but didn't use it, probably great for Perth summers. Notice boards throughout the place offering lots of information and job opportunities which is helpful for backpackers.

The carpets and certainly worn and seen there day. Depending on which room you get some Air-conditioning systems are noisy.

Nice location close to the city, bus stop is right outside the hostel. Staff is friendly and there’s complimentary breakfast every day. Met some very nice people here!

Everything seems bit dated and some minor fixes could improve that. The bathroom door in our room didn’t close properly, the beds where very loud and I could feel all the springs in my bed. Also had two long term guests in my room which meant their stuff was everywhere, dirty clothes on the floor, food in the lockers and all that.

Free breakfast is always good! It was a basic breakfast of a selection of cereals and bread with spreads, but it set you up for the day! The rooms are a good standard, we stayed in a 6 bed dorm and we had our own bathroom for the dorm, rather than sharing with a floor. Lockers in our room and it was nice to have a balcony to step out on. Overall it was a really nice hostel, the staff were very friendly and you could have a laugh with them

Shared areas were really clean, great outdoor area with pool & lots of seats (indoor + out). Good facilities, loads of space in kitchen, washing machines/tumble dryers, fridges, pool table, seats, sofa.. People always at reception to help & answer any queries etc. Breakfast was great too! Simple toast & cereal but such a bonus for any traveller to get.

It was actually 2 rooms sharing the 'en-suite', not just the 4-bed I was in, and was a very small bathroom for all of us. Felt a bit conned on that..

The location of the hostel just outside the city's central precinct, yet within walking distance, with public bus transport adjacent to the hostel. Additionally a Woolworths shopping centre and a discount chemist/pharmacy are within 150 metres of the establishment. The availability of information from staff willing to engage visitors and the acceptance by guests for the need for quiet time from 2300 at night. The professionalism of housekeeping and office staff, the provision of a 24-hour office and the inclusion of the simple, yet filling continental-style breakfast, as part of one's booking.

Nothing to complain about, nor to detract from our stay. Well done, to all staff, Billabong Backpackers.

It’s been a month! Billabong was the first station to begin my backpacker journey in Australia. I arrived at the resort with bags and luggages all over my hands at night, after checking in hastily, I started to reorganise my stuff in the room, but just couldn’t find my 50 bucks. When I thought that I had lost them forever, Victor asked did you miss anything when I went to the counter - and I had my missing 50 bucks back! Cheers for that mate. Respect to your integrity🫡

The Location was perfect, there was a bus right outside the door. Car parking available on site. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, had AC and had a private bathroom. Kitchen area was perfect.

Pool area was a little dirty, plenty of bins but guests weren't using them, not really the hostels fault.
